    Had $2.55 in my wallet. Found 2 cans (20cents) on my morning walk!
    Shoppers-buy the 99 cent Colgate toothpaste (yay, in stock) and $1 scratch ticket. $2.10 total.
    Win my $1 back>buy a second $1 ticket>win $6!

    Back to the store aisle-find the Nivea Crème soaps on SALE $3.99 (best price this year but notice the reg. price has gone up $1 (store reno/more hours to shop)) which I need, plus buy the Toronto Sun ($1+GST). $5.55 total.

    Redeem cans-now have $1.10 left to spend. Fortinos has lovely reduced price bananas for $0.99 (organic!). Thus I spent my last $1.

    I've 10 cents now in that wallet. Just wanted to share my joy that playing the $1 ticket (Sparkling Jewels; no Donut Diner in stock) is sometimes worthwhile.
