Overpriced digital copy? (Yes this really is a brag)

So a while dh and I went to see deadpool in the theatre and I actually liked it. I decided I wanted to buy it but wait for a good deal. Now Walmart has the DVD with hd digital copy for less than 10$ but I decided to just buy the digital copy for 25$. I bought it from the cineplex store website that currently has a 10* the scene points sale on select movies. I payed for it with a 40$ cineplex gift card I got for Christmas but what makes it a good deal is that I got 2500 scene points. That will get me a movie date with dh since it will get 2 regular admissions, 2 pops, and a popcorn to share. Considering the date night admission coupons are supposedly 25$ at Costco (what I heard not sure if that true or not) I basically payed for the date night in advance (with a gift card I got free) and got the digital copy I wanted as a free bonus.

Deadpool is an awesome movie..I hope the sequel is going to be as good.

Its only a good deal because of the bonus scene points. The movie alone would be a total ripoff but the 2500 points is enough for 2 people to see a regular movie and get snacks. (It's a bundle points offer that you have to ask for when buying your tickets at the concession stand in person.)

Thank you. I thought I heard or read that somewhere but we don't have a costco membership to actually go check it ourselves.
