Just taking a break from prepping things - so many times making lots of little things to eat takes so much more time than a regular meal! That said, I can't wait to dig into the shrimp!
Hope you are all enjoying the day!

Just about to dig into the most scrumptious looking turkey ever!
Had a terrific time opening gifts and then playing Mexican train.
Merry, Merry Christmas all my SC friends!
Wishing you love, joy and peace for you and all those you love!

Good earlier evening everyone!!!! I sure hope you had a better past Christmas day than I am...
I did go to breakfest at 8:OO AM with my father resleeping a litter bit later after because the dinner with my uncle and my mother familly was only at 12 pm...woke up with vomitting because of the stree and the panick of going there
Sure the food was awesome ..but I was not feeling good ...they talked a way If I was not there there would not be no change,I barrely place a word in their conversation,...no one enquiry about my feeling ..my mother brother sure talk about his heart surgery and my other uncle his 2 acv...
no mention of alexandre and nicole....I am so deceived....I give the gifts of yves rocher shower gel to my auntie and she was happy she give me a nice picture of here cousine painting....my uncle refused my christmas log, my ferrero rocher and my cashew because he said he has enough of that...so deceived...
He give me a 40$ tim hortons giftcard witch I passed to my father because i dont go there and helene give me chocolate
He remind my how I was irrespecfull to not give any news of me of repling to his email of birthday even I said I was not feeling great and depression....
I promess him to kept the contact via e-mail or tel...but...i am not sure
I cried all the way to return to my cousine in her car...
My marraine understand me well better than him and that is the case for forever...
now I am just happy to still have my dad alive and will kept contact with my cousines.....not hungry tonight....
January 1 we are going to another aunt house my father one...I am sure it will be better
That it for me i am very tired of this dinnerThe goal is to live day by day not to much thinking hahaha !!!!
I love to save money!!! Frugal life hahaah !!!

a quick hello!! I'll post just one pic of one of the courses we served at Christmas dinner. I forgot AGAIN! to have someone on picture duty....anyhow this course was rated A+ by the family...thin slices of pork tenderloin filled with spinach, asparagus and feta cheese, sauteed and served with melon balls.

@cath007 I am so sad that your Christmas visit didn't go well! Good that you can look forward to another get together that will be better.
@walkonby - you are one terrific chef!
My visit at my BrotherB's went very well. He made me and BrotherR a most beautiful memory book of our parents ' lives. It included even my father's birth certificate, which I had never seen. And pictures of us all through our lives. There were excerpts from our mother's travel diaries and certificates recognizing my parents' 50th wedding anniversary.
I told him that it's not nice to make his sister cry on Christmas day.
We had lots of good laughs over funny gifts and played Mexican Train.
It was a lovely day.
Well, I am fading fast. Good night everyone! Sleep well.
