Whaaaa?
I like those Texas flip and move shows. But, I swear, all these flip shows choose greys, white cabinets, white subway tile back splashes, and some "pop" of colour plus glass doors on a shower with a "steam" shower head.
Am I out in left field?
I was binge watching "Bones" and eating way too much junk.
Rain moving in for tomorrow.
Still have laundry to fold before I can get in bed.
See ya! Cabby sent me a message. He's ok, just not feeling like posting.
Bye! And good night.

If I've heard it said once and repeated over and over during this pandemic, it's that teachers are in a special group of heroes who go above and beyond for their students. This sweet music teacher is no exception, and she wrote a song to communicate how she is feeling during all of this....grab the tissues!!

Good morning!
@avoncallingu , yep, everything white and grey...you've been in our kids' home, right? It's a trend, better than the beiges and browns of the 70s and 80s! Hahaha! I'd love to have everything white with my blue and yellow pops of colour! Which is your favourite "team" on Texas Flip? Although they're all related except for Randy.
We're also expecting a lot of rain, starting this evening although it's drizzly already.
Hope you're all doing well, staying safe....How do y'all feel about going out when things start opening up in the province? Personally I'll continue to stay right where I am and wait until the dust settles.
Happy day, everyone!

@Lynn49 - yes, your DD's house is lovely! For sure- very classy!
I like blues and yellow too, but, sadly all of the kitchens in this place are very dark and brown. But the backsplash mini-tiles do have a hint of green and orange. So I try to pick up on that. Bringing in lime colors.
I like the older women team - I don't know their names. But they all do quite amazing things, don't they!
Got Tootie out and in before the rain so I 'm happy about that.
I like the idea of merging family "bubbles" as a step towards opening up. Then, if they would accept me, I could visit my BrotherB and his family- I know they have been very careful. And then I could at least get a hug and a 2 way conversation.
Got to "Zoom" away. As I said on Facebook, Canadians are going to be known in the future for saying "eh," "sorry," and added to that- "Stay safe!."

The "Snow Sisters, @avoncallingu "! Love their banter and teasing each other...generally that's why I love that show so much...so stupid negativity, just friendly competitions and always wishing each other well with their renos!
Love lime, too! Another happy colour that'll likely make that colour pop in the tiles. Enjoy decorating!!

Oh my, @walkonby - that vid made my day!
Hi all!
I haven't been doing well. Nurse came this morning because I got a few more blisters, so I had to go back on Cobands on both legs. She is thinking maybe I just have to stay in them because every time some heal up, I get more in a few weeks.
This does not make me happy, but I understand.
I talked with her about all the other stuff I have been dealing with - when I described having a cold and my symptoms, she said the nurse should then be fully gowned - she was wearing a mask only. Well, I felt really bad...
She then said I shouldn't be surprised if I get a phone call to have the flu test done.
So, yeah I have been feeling gross, not much I can do about it, except hoping there is a chance I get somewhat better, and get some strength back.
Hoping you are all doing well and keeping safe!

Oh, dear, @Natalka. What rotten luck about those Cobands; I recall the freedom you described when you didn't need to wear them. As for your cold, 'tis the season, the weather can be so changeable, I hope you can get over it quickly. It's also a good idea to be tested, even for your own peace of mind.
Get lots of rest.....keeping you in my prayers, Nat.Last edited by Lynn49; Wed, Apr 29th, 2020 at 05:10 PM.

Hahahaha.. @avoncallingu , a gal on one of my 'vintage decorating" FB groups just posted, "Alright, let's see some kitchens that aren't white!"....so you're not the only one missing colour..
