Good evening, my friends! I managed to get a visit in to our favourite outdoor area with Tootie and my friend and her tiny doggie.

I ran into a friend from my old building which is right beside the field we go to. She is once again tending the gardens there.

It was good to see people virtually at our Zoom church service.

I also spent quite a time drawing hearts that we will distribute to all our tenants so that they can send personal messages of thanks and support to the care staff at the retirement home next door.

The weather has been spectacular but the wind has been ramping up from time to time. High winds overnight and decreasing Temps overnight and tomorrow but sunny for the next few days.

My email inbox gets flooded daily with various videos, recipes and memes, but today I received this!! Oh how I wanna make 2 of them, I have spare wool for days in my storage room. I'd have to make at least one of them super large ( Hamlet you know you are THAT big ) so should probably make 2 that size.
Will I need a pattern or should I just wing it? A fun project to fill the boredom.

Lol.....but you know cats, @walkonby ....they'd probably prefer a box! Hahaha!! I think you can wing it with this one, sometimes patterns just confuse things...
Just like when I sewed our 5 masks....boy, they can make things so complicated in patterns...there's nothing to them! If I had more suitable fabrics I'd make more, but I'm out of that and elastics...

I can just picture you knitting, sipping somethin' somethin'....rocking...hahaha!!

Your cats are so spoiled! It's like "the twins" at our DD's home...Preda is a pretty sleek kitten, but Suda...oof...can't even jump on the island now, poor muffin. I think she can still get onto the bar stools, then the island...but you've seen her pictures: she just overflows that cat tree bed a smidge. LOL!!

My plan for today is to go to the grocery to some meat stock up since it’s getting nicer out. Just hoping it’s not crazy in the store

In my experiences the past couple of weeks @flemeth , you should be just fine today. The hype has been finally dying down and I am able to walk right into just about any store without waiting in a line outside. And if there's a line, unless they have something I need that no one else has, I move on. Even Walmart on Saturday morning, we were able to walk right in. And toilet paper for miles.

First thing lets get this " May The Fourth Be With You " nonsense out of the way. I must post the stork video I was sent today....everyone needs a happy cry to begin the week.



The sun has been so lovely, coming through the curtains that is. I've not let it warm my arms yet, this morning's errand was a dash in and out and back home again. I have decided against crocheting those cat couches after all. I mean really!
Hamlet sleeps with me every night, follows me to the computer, squeezes himself onto my desk as I type, and I can never be on the recliner without him joining me, so other than a cute snapshot or two of the cats in them I know better than to waste my time.

There will be a nap this afternoon. I feel it coming on but still have a few things to get done before I can zonk out guilt free.
