Good morning!
Just in case you didn't think intelligence is a short commodity in the lower US states, how's this: in Alabama, groups of fools are hosting covid parties.....each person pays to attend, and the first person diagnosed by a doctor as having the virus gets the money!
The most idiotic, life-threatening parties ever held!!
The hell with anyone else, any elderly relatives who may be affected by those potential killers!! I'm sure they're not wearing masks in public either. Can we gather them up and put them on an island somewhere?!
On to funner things, it's another gorgeous day, it was 36 iirc here yesterday, cooling down to 32 today.. Our SIL's b'day tomorrow...another busy weekend. I honestly get so exhausted with this fibro, but have always pushed through, but I just can't anymore. When I get tired, and by tired, it's more like "I can't take another step, move, or think straight", it'll be nap time. Everyone will just have to do without me for a while. I'm sure they'll be fine, hahaha!
Enjoy your day, everyone!
Continue to be diligent, stay safe and well.

aw rats @Lynn49 , I know it isn't fun missing out but when your exhaustion warning bell goes off definitely take that nap! Plus your trailer has A/C, so comfort +.
I listened to a news story on CNN about those very irresponsible young people hosting those Covid parties.
Guess the stores were all sold out of Tide Pods? hee hee.
So I got to watch Hamilton ( about an hour ago ) in the comfort of my home! Yippee!
It was so worth it, Disney Plus now has 2 things I approve of, that and The Mandalorian.
Low key weekend for us here, no plans at all. Maybe we'll water the flowers or something.
@avoncallingu your post made me sad for you! Battery power and only only able to say hi.
Hoping your tech issues get resolved soon.

Honestly, @walkonby , I've pushed through, pretending I was fine, but it's gone beyond that, so yes, naps in our trailer or as my Hubby calls it, "the fridge", lol, is perfect. With asthma it's also poopy to breathe outside,
But it's beautiful here...as I sit in this recliner, all I can see out if the windows are trees and greenery!! It's a taller unit than our other one, higher ceilings so ...and you'll appreciate this, @GoJays , I don't see people!!! How perfect is that? 🤗
Well, carry on, peeps! Hope you're all enjoying the day!

Finally signed up for Disney+ yesterday. DD was awake at 5am to watch Hamilton. She's seen it twice so far... as far as I know... And let me tell you how much I enjoyed the first two episodes of The Mandalorian

Hi. Y'all!
Sunny mostly and windy day, 27 - our warmest day yet. Doors open back and front make it very comfy to be inside
So, yay, I am sleeping again - however, up all night.
I will take it because my body has sure needed this for months!
Oldest sister's birthday today, she is 14 years older than me. They are in AB, so don't see them much.
Hope you all are having a Fab Friday!

Hello folks. Back on line.
My brotherB's 51st. Birthday today. It was 51 years ago tomorrow that I swore off rye forever! Did some silly celebrating with my friend the night he was born.
I spoke to 2 couples today that I will be marrying. One at the end of August -complete with Zoom-type coverage. The bride has everything worked out to the T about how we can all be safe.
And one couple who will marry in January. They are just starting the detail journey. I hope maybe we can all smile at each other by then.
I have been trying to hang artwork. One successfully done yesterday. Then today, a bigger piece. It is so old.......".How old is it?" you ask.
Well, there is masking tape which connects the backing to the frame and it is so old and dry that I have been trying to remove it with an Xacto knife. I'm being careful - scraping away from me. It's taking so long that, for a moment, I considered taking it to Michael's but then thought about how much they charged just to position 2 boundary things whose name I just can't come up with......oh yeah, mats, and mount my picture in my frame......I re-thought the whole thing. After all, this thing has been waiting to get hung for almost 3 years now. A couple of days more won't make a difference.
I have realized that while the de-humidifier is sucking moisture out of the air in my apartment, that it's also sucking moisture out of me. All I had been drinking was canned ice-tea, so no wonder I was feeling a little woosey. So, juice, water (with a little salt in it)- a handful of salted popcorn and a muffin and I am feeling a lot better.
So all you friends who are inside in air conditioning -don't forget to keep hydrated.
I will be back later.
Take care! And stay safe.
