Oh, but it's all so worth it, he'll be devoted to you forever, @vino_er_coach
Best of luck....he's trying to figure it all out and he will. Have you taken him outside a whole lot in a day? You may be surprised how little time it can take before he's approaching that same door.
Don't give up on the wee muffin...💕
We all remember DangerDan going through this with his beautiful Cooper.Last edited by Lynn49; Tue, Oct 27th, 2020 at 03:30 PM.

I cannot wait to see some pics of Cooper!!
Since my earlier post, following the suggestion of the paper towel...he tried to eat it lol. So, I picked it up, rubbed the pee on the pad for scent, and we had a successful afternoon! We had 4 highly praised piddles and 1 doodle so far to follow! He even turned to me and ran over after so he could get his pets and treat!
As for going outside, he has been out front on a harness a few times and out back without one. I want to introduce him slowly and focus on the pads first. Going to get him a coat and some boots too, he likes it outside, but he trembles with the temperatures dipping. He is just so full of beans right now. He plays hard for a good 1/2 hour to an hour and then he is ready for a 2 hour nap...beside me! Gives me a good reason to binge on some Netflix.
Enjoy dinner everyone!

That's wonderful news, @vino_er_coach ! Its evident that he's pretty darn proud of himself if he feels he's earned a reward!
Unlike our Doxie, Jennyfur, aka Jenny, who feels she deserves rewards, praise and yes, hugs just because she thinks she's all that. I mean she IS, but she could display a little humility sometimes!🤣 It'll never happen.
Continued success, next will be putting a soiled puppy pad outside where you prefer he does his business. He sounds like he's already claimed you as alpha male so that's a relief.
Enjoy your new buddy, I hope he shares the sofa with you.
I hope you keep in touch about how it all goes.

Good morning @GoJays
I have a very busy day here. Have a few errands to run and then cleaning the back yard and the front lawn with all the leaves and twigs. Patio furniture also need to be put away but that will be my DD job.
Stay safe and have a good day all

Happy Wacky Wednesday!!
Today is our son's birthday - how in the world can he be 29???
He will come here after work for supper and a visit.
Nurse visit this morning - no more Cobands on my right leg, it has been healed for some time - so I have a stocking on that leg.
Left leg, the last wound just healed up, so they will probably give it a little time before that can be in a stocking.
Hey, one nekkid leg is better than none!
I am feeling quite decent, getting okay sleep over a 24 hour period, still not enough at one time - I wake up with knee and/or leg and/or back pain.
I think I am eating quite well, but the nurse had a talk with me that the last 20 pounds came off too fast.
Weighed myself after she left, I had gained .2 of a pound in the past 10 days.
Hope you are all well!
Milan, three days old

Well, I finished sewing our DD's rice-filled shoulder wrap (she holds her tension on her shoulders and hopefully this will help and she can also use it on her sciatic back) and our SIL's rice-filled hand warmers...he has Renaud's disease, not badly but his hands do turn white after he's been outside in the cold, so I thought they would help him warm his hands up faster.
They're not precious gifts of course, but I think they might be quite useful. I hope, haha!
Now I have to find new projects. I can't NOT do anything I'd lose the few grey cells I have left!!Last edited by Lynn49; Wed, Oct 28th, 2020 at 04:51 PM.
