Had a lovely lazy day, 3rd coat of chalky paint, so that's done, just need new knobs and a handle; it was only 2 today but felt downright frigid although the only experience I had was letting my furbay out to the back yard.

Back in Cambridge staying with my friend for a few days. Showings went well just have to wait to see how things develop. It's pouring and stormy. I am going to a "clothing exchange " tomorrow. Fun and going to raise money for a Cancer Support Centre. Will do some more investigation into what may be available to rent or buy tomorrow.
Anyone who wants to move from an apartment on July 1 will have to hand in notices tomorrow.
My friend here has found a new doggie (Airedale Rescue) that she'll be adopting on Saturday. Hoping that we can successfully introduce Sadie to "Jamie"- a 2 year old. If not, I am running out of doggie caregivers!
