Good morning @GoJays
It would be a very busy day here I need to clean up the backyard with all the broken branches and twigs since it will be nice out.
Have a safe and good day all
morning gang
G'day!!
Congrats to your BrotherB, @avoncallingu ...wishing him much success!
A "mild" day today and tomorrow and I'm so tempted to go out somewhere just to browse...Marshalls, or the Winners/HomeSense store, maybe Michaels but we still have 22 cases here, but down from around 60, so we're improving thank heavens! I just can't believe Quebec, with their soaring numbers will increase gatherings to 250 people!!! Over 6500 active cases and they're increasing gatherings?!
Does anyone here live in or near the Peel County red-zone? Just curious...
We got most of the gifts wrapped yesterday, I finished a couple today and now I'm on to making the gift tags for all the gifts, likely a watercolour something or other. This is the fun stuff, so no pressure. :)
I hope everyone is healthy as can be, enjoy your day!!
Oh goodness, @GoJays , that's still close enough, isn't it?
Be safe, Jay's.:grouphug:

I am in the red zone
Thanks you guys  I'm staying far away from Peel for now... sorry @flemeth ... coffee another time, maybe? lol
The issue isn't me going to Peel though. The issue is people from Peel coming here. I feel that it should be all or nothing. If the provincial government is going to shut down one area, all of the surrounding areas should also be shut down. There is absolutely nothing stopping those people from leaving their zone and going elsewhere to get their unnecessary, frivolous errands done. Coffee, lunch, dinner, shopping.. all unnecessary, but these people don't give a flying fk about anyone but themselves. Sorry, I'm angry. I've been angry all week. I came home from work on Monday and drank
...you can tell this is from me, I'm wearing my initial!! I may also resemble her figure....a smidge...
I inadvertently grabbed my Hubby's hat from the closet today....mine's usually a fuzzy pink angora tam..hahaha!!!
I'd send you wine also, but well...you know how it is with wine: it so quickly evaporates!

@flemeth , some who own cottages, have decided to move to the cottage from Peel, York, Toronto, Ottawa. Some have moved from bordering US states, who are dual citizens. So some are coming from Ontario red zones and US high count zones.
So looking at the location is important. But looking at behaviour is the other part of the equation: wearing a mask, wearing a face shield, shopping for groceries when the store is least busy, social distancing, not having visitors to your home, not visiting others, keeping in touch by phone or social media and staying home when sick.
Just my two cents worth....
@Shaw Girl I have not let anyone into m home since the first outbreak not even family. My house is staying in our bubble of 4 . Over the summer we even refuse to go out to family BBQ. We are also not dining out . All our meals are prepared at home . My DH is an essential worker so He has been working since Covid start. I am only going out when necessary for groceries can’t see myself buying fresh fruits and veggies online
