Uhm...have I entered the twilight zone??? where is everyone..anyone??? Silly me this is the weekend edition of life as we know it and everyone is sleeping! Truth be told, I did sleep in myself but too long in one position is not good for my body.
Being Saturday it must be time for me to do some cleaning which I would rather put off but it needs to be done.
Whatever you do this day take care of yourselves and stay safe!

Good Saturday morning!

The kids invited us over for fajita Friday yesterday, yummy dinner, card games, Jack.tv...no wine for me, still in mid flare-up, so wine just makes me more dizzy. Today we take the tree down.

@Skippy , I generally sleep in until about 10am lately, but of course, every day is Saturday.

@walkonby , didn't we think we were cool, smoking in those days?! I started at 15, an after-school restaurant habit, but not anywhere else, parents never knew, it was years later I "came out" as a smoker.

So orange guy finally got dumped. After, of course Twitter made their money off him. But a gag-rag is now firmly in place, we hope, and he can be charged with enciting terrorism and SEDITION! Lol!

Hello friends! Been quite a week. My procedure went ok but since I had previously had some arythmia during anaesthesia, they didn't give me a lot which meant I was in a lot of discomfort. No polyps found. Waiting for analysis of some tissue they sent away from the endoscopy.
Then I had a problem with my eye and had to go see the eye doctor on Wednesday- turns out that I have dry eye and have to use a special gel lubricant. In the meantime, a friend who had had a double lung transplant 11 and 1/2 years ago passed away last Saturday. I was given/volunteered for the job of getting a card and having folks sign it for the family.
Meanwhile, my other friend is being nominated for an award and I needed to write a letter of recommendation and get it to the woman who will submit it. And we had an ice storm, ...so I haven't been around here much.

I cried for the US and my family there as I watch all that horror on Capitol Hill. Apparently, there is more violence planned for next week.

Well, it's the celebration of Epiphany tomorrow at church.

@Natalka , I am so very sorry to hear about your dear Vador! Such a loss to your family and especially you.

@avoncallingu I am always torn when I hit " like " on a post like yours, but I think you know it means something other than like.
Relieved for you on the results of your procedure, at least nothing serious was found. My sympathies on the passing of your friend and concern for your relatives living in the US. Tense times for everyone living there.

My sleep is all upside down, but that is o.k. when you're retired. As long as the hours add up to 8 or more it doesn't matter to me when I get them. Watching the fun game with the Leafs last night has got me revved up for their first real game next Wednesday.

This morning I am making perogies from scratch! My own fault for letting all my frozen Cheemo stockpile get depleted.
Figured since I have everything here to make some, I might as well have some fun. If I have energy after that there is a corned beef hash itching to be made. ( last few spuds in the bag will turn soon unless used up )
DH will make a large pasta ( again ) unless I get in there, we'll see how this day unfolds.

Good morning @walkonby you are up way early and very productive. You really spoiled your family I am sure they will enjoyed those amazing Perogies for lunch or dinner.
@avoncallingu glad your procedure went well . Sorry to hear about your friend passing. As for concerns about the US I am very worried because most of my family and relatives are scattered in the United States also have in some living in Washington. I am just happy that I had the option to live in Canada.

Well it will be a lazy day here since I already went to RCSS this morning at 7am to get some fresh fruits and veggies
