Gosh, what a lot of flooding and potential flooding in Ontario and east of us!! I heard that they will likely close the southern end of the Don Valley; it's happened before, that the "Don" has overtaken it, so I guess it's a caution, alright.
Hope anyone down there who has to get home today does so early and that no one has any flooding issues!
Just stay safe out there, everyone and have a lovely weekend...in spite of the weather. Our sun is shining today and I hope that continues..."the boys" are heading to the island to open up our trailers for the summer and the partying on the long weekend!! :cheesygrin:

I'm always amused by all these people in Timmins complaining about snow. OMG we have snow on May 2nd how can that be. They all act so shocked and confused but it. I'm like we almost always have snow on the May long weekend which is still 2 weeks away but you're surprised we have snow beginning of May lol. It's like they have selective amnesia every year. :P

Hi folks! Trying to catch up on 4 days of messages and mail, etc. But I am just so tired I am going to have a little rest. 40 winks, as they say!
Our good old Thames River is rising dramatically. Our building is quite close to the river. On the other side of the road where I usually take Sadie for a walk, the walkway is totally covered near the bridge and the height of the water is right up to the under side of the bridge. Hope that bridge hangs on!

Just used my pedal exerciser for 30 mins and I got a little sweaty so that's a good sign. Of course my room was a little warm so that could be part of it lol. I didn't use it for about 3 days because I had so many damn boxes around here but that's all cleared away. Now I can work on my time machine. :P
Guy buys ankle weights and complains they slip down to his ankles. Ummm yeah that's why they're ankle weights. :P
