Well... Last night at work was one of the most interesting in the past few months... Started out a little terrified, but looking back now, I'm laughing about what happened.

Day Grocery Manager was apparently not too happy with the Night Crew. Decided to blame our crew for something that HIS crew is suppose to be dealing with. My manager (Night Grocery) was there and immediately crushed down what he was trying to say in front of everyone and defend our crew. We work our butts off every night doing more than we need to, so to be told that basically, we were crap on a metric we don't even use was ridiculous. But I am glad I have the manager I do, always sticks up for all of us, very forgiving, and very reasonable. I can't imagine having anyone else for nights in charge!

I can't stand him!!!

Another dreary, wet day. Fell a little left out, though...our DD has cute little yellow flags down her street, this morning we see them across our street, but we don't have any. Feeling a little rejected.


Not much going on today, might do some paintings, or at least attempt them; I think I'm losing my touch.

Enjoy your day, everyone...I just wish the sun would come back, these dull days are too yucky.

Good Morning! Mail truck just came and delivered the book i won from Goodreads Giveaways called Turn a Blind Eye by JefferyArcher. Anxious to read it. Too wet to do things outside, dont feel like baking; just one of those days.

Good day my friends! Made it here yesterday to read the thread but then in too much pain to contribute towards the ongoing narrative.Today pain in the hind paw instead so I'm good to go!
Despite being apart, it seems we're all sharing the same weather condition of blah..followed by more blah in the forecast! Yet we will get through it together! All for one and one for all??...
My contribution is that I bought strawberries which usually grow in the summer.So I am going to have some of them topped with that chemical whipped stuff out of the can and try to fool myself that it is actually summer or at least sunny! To make it even better I will add one square from a chocolate bar!

Yum, Skippy, nothing like fresh strawberries with anything on them....are you grating that chocolate square onto the cream, or savoring it for a dessert. After your dessert.
Reminds me years ago I used to have one square of bittersweet chocolate from a chocolate bar with coffee in the evening. Might fo that again one day.

The sun has shown up here, but it's not supposed to last, only up to 7 today, 0 overnight which means we bring the plants into the toolshed.

Good thing we didn't plant anything we don't have and big pop bottles.

Was kind of relieved to hear at 9 a.m. this morning that this new board Zuckerberg created upheld their ban on Trump's FB account, for just 6 more months.
Then what? then maybe Zuckerberg himself might have to sh*t or get off the pot.
