Good morning!

Thanks to everyone for the anniversary wishes and messages. We have been married 32 years - that number seems just odd to think of.

Our son came over after work, we ordered supper in (so yummy!), the talked the night away - about our wedding, other family weddings and milestone anniversaries, then we moved on to topics solving the problems of the world. It was a fun night!

City is still working on the water mains, gah!

Had my blood drawn for testing this morning, that is pretty much all the excitement I can handle in a day!

Well another little life update from me...

I am applying to another new job... But this time not with Loblaw, with Community Care St.Catharines & Thorold! I saw a Facebook post they had looking for a Food Room Coordinator, similar in description to our Day Grocery Manager (Working with warehouse for orders, lows, and surpluses, training new volunteers, and organizing the food room). This is the first job in quite some time that has come up anywhere that I REALLY want! I am going as far as pulling as many references together as I can and writing a great cover letter for it this weekend... I'm hoping that I can at least get an interview, considering I volunteer there (Pre-Covid), and already know the CEO.

Wish my luck in this potential future life path!!

All be myself at camp, gorgeous day, but cool in the RV.. I actually have the fireplace on while watching the Olympics. It's warm outside, but....the TV is inside. 😊

Hubby, DD, SIL, and Grandson all golfing. It's a perfect day for golf!

@Lynn49 at first when I read " all by myself " at camp I got a pang of sadness for you....until I pictured you this way!!
Your choice seems way better than golfing in the hot sun...but then I don't golf so???

🤔 🤗 😅 🤣....YES! You know me FAR too well!!

Jenny asked me to go for a walk, we got 1/2 way down our street..."Hi!! Come, sit, have wine!"....ok...then someone else flagged us down, another visit.

Then everyone came hone from golf (Grandson enjoyed it all, wanted to play longer, lol), had a couple of Caesars, then dinner, soon off to a fire fire at another couple's RV, the boys will enjoy yet another " very fine" scotch

SO relaxing at camp! 🙃

Last night was a wonderful first game at home for the Blue Jays....KC 4 Blue Jays 6, looking forward to the second game at 3 p.m. today.

I am finished my outside time for today.
Graced 4 establishments with my presence. Gas station and 3 grocery stores ( they are kind of all in the same area ).
Could kick myself as I passed on buying potatoes thinking we had lots. I was geared up to make a lovely potato/egg salad but when I returned home and saw the 7 pathetic wrinkled spuds in a bag I wanted to scream!

I still peeled, cubed and boiled them, just making up a smaller salad and turned the balance of the boiled eggs into an egg salad to have on Brioche bread! ( Food Basics Irresistible Brand , 500 gr on for $2.97 )
Many hands make lighter work, or something like that so I was tickled that DS brought in and put away the bulk of the items. Before he could escape I had him shuck the cobs of corn, dice the celery and green onions for the salads.

DH will have some nice choices for what he eats during the game. GT had their large hots and ham buns on for $1.97.
I made burgers last night and grilled up 5 largish honey garlic sausages today to pair with those soft buns.
Gosh, I haven't had breakfast yet, no wonder everything sounds so yummy to me.

The rain's stopped, sun's out, and people are already heading to the beach here.
I am not. 🙃

I also slept in until 11:30!!! Got to bed at midnight, but it's SO nice sleeping here when it's raining all night and morning. Even Jenny slept in an extra hour after we were up.

It's a holiday! For some but not all I'm figuring out just now. What a team! Blue Jays swept the KC Royals!! There hasn't been a sweep of a series since.....??? for a while.

Frankie got a huge new mirror, magnetic on the back!!

Jenny and I just woke up! It's a sunny day from what I've seen through the windows. 😊

@walkonby , keep those Frankie pics coming....he's so stinkin' cute!! His face seems to have such an attitude, like he's judging his world and everything in it!
