Wow, @Natalka , those temps are what we had in June! Lately our nights are around 16, days 26+ -.
Home from camping and a rainy weekend off and on, but campfires at night were lovely, just being with the kids fun as always.
Is it too late for your farmers' crops to thrive?

Well folks, today has been one for the books. As I decide to get dinner on, the cat decides to puke in the laundry room, which I clean up and then go back to making dinner by sending the soy sauce all over the kitchen floor and myself because I had already opened the lid before I was interrupted. The cat decides to puke again which I clean up and then discover that I'm using the wrong cleaner and may strip the floor. So I gotta clean it again to get off that cleaner, then manage to put dinner on.Which may top yesterday with a migraine and nearly three days without internet because I messed up the modem.Other than that, just the usual..
Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

Good morning gang!
Yes...the Olympics. We watched Jose Bautista do great things for the Dominican Republican team, but alas they fell 3-1 to the USA. Then this morning I caught the dramatic 8th and 9th innings of the Japan vs Korea game.
Japan won that, so they will definitely advance to the Gold medal game.
Dominican Republic will play for the Bronze on Friday vs either the USA or Korea.
Japan just sits back and waits to see if they play the USA or Korea for Gold.
Hooray for Andre DeGrasse!!
Another spoiled day for me...ordered again yesterday from Petsmart, Door dash same day free delivery, so why go out?
Ordered from Staples today, free delivery, will arrive tomorrow...again, why go out?
A person could get really used to this.
2023 had better show some promise or else!

@walkonby , as if staring at phones isn't separating us from each other in public, ordering everything to be delivered to our homes might just be the nail in human to human contact. Not that it's a bad thing in many cases, but still...
Grocery cashiers and bank tellers will go the way of the dodo bird in the not too distant future, replaced by electronic check-out machines and robots.
Have you seen those creepy human-like robots that can interact with people already??I wonder where it'll all end, and thankful I won't be around to see it.
@GoJays , yes, we both watch so much Olympics also and I do enjoy them more than the winter ones but it's just not the same as watching it within our own time-zones or at least in a European time-zone. It's so scattered during the day, jumping from this to that, trying to determine what's real and what's old news in the early evening.
But it's a nice diversion from the news which I'm staying away from more and more each day. Re-hashed crap.
This one's for you, Jays....
