If only it could stay these temperatures and not turn into an arctic freeze it would be wonderful, much better than that sweltering humid summer days we had. Love fall and spring; two of my favourite seasons.
Of course....ahem....where would Christmas be without winter around here?
And just for you, @danger_dan:

Oh, so true, @GoJays ! It's SO pleasant at camp now with those dang things gone!
Now if the wasps stop stinging our Daughter, that would be something! 😉

Jays took game #6 ....that is 6 in a row now! Garrit Cole was polled out after just 2 innings, hamstring injury. Sad for him but great turn of luck for us. Alejandro Kirk hit TWO HR's! ( not the catcher tonight, he was the DH )
What a great game ( again ).

Just a quick post before heading to bed.You all know I have 1 cat, eve. But in my life I had 2 cats who are now deceased.Joey and Mia : I miss those so much ...So having 2 cats at the same time miss me so bad....So here is the story......I saw 1 cat in fb french site but he had 10 years old and not announced anymore.......so that put the question on again to father and me to have another cat....After I did go to another site and saw one cat female 5 years old declaw and operated so i give it a try to send an e-mail inquiring about her health and if she is ok with another cat.She is very affective .so I am waiting a response back and hope she is stilll available.Otherwhise i will make others research She is free

@cath007
I hope like mad that you can get to adopt that female cat! Wouldn't that be a lovely addition to your family? She would be a playmate for Eve too. Best of luck, I hope you hear soon about it.
We had some " weather " last night to put it mildly. Of course the hail and rain began right at the 7:00 pm. mark so our tv signal could get knocked out. I quickly plugged the radio in and tuned it to the ballgame. Eventually the tv signal returned, but that nasty rain fell all night long accompanied by loud crashing thunder.
Quite comical really, at say 6:50 p.m. DH had offered to drive to DQ to grab us 2 Sundaes ( nobody makes a pecan mudslide like them! ), and it was perfectly clear when he left. Cut to him driving home navigating the hail and rain, with 1 hand on the tray holding the items on the seat next to him.
The walk up to the house carrying the treats was tricky....he sacrificed his body getting drenched to keep the ice cream from getting wet! My hero!
We sure enjoyed them....he finagled the server into making a really large mudslide too after first insisting it only came in one size....hrmph! She did it but I'm certain he paid mucho extra for the extra ice cream, caramel, fudge sauce and pecans.
Are we the only ones who get beckoned by DQ?!
Have a great day everyone.

Morning, everyone!!
I can't WAIT to get this 24-hr BP monitor that inflated every hour through the night...small beep, turn the light on, watch the screen to make sure I didn't get the "Err" notice, clicked light off, back to sleep...every single hour! It comes off at 12:30, not a second later! I had such a welt on my upper arm we had to pad it with gauze for heaven's sake, just where the cord was attached to the cuff. This has been no fun. Poopy, actually.
I did hear about that awful storm you southerners had last night, with a tornado forming somewhere there. I'm thinking there'll be even more of that next summer.
Other than that, not much going on, this will be our 2nd to last camping weekend before we settle down to a lovely fall and a horrible winter...sleet, snow in Ontario is forecasted by the Farmers Almanac. Lovely.
At least it brings Christmas.
So....enjoy this bright, sunny, fall day everyone!!!
