slow start to my day. Last night in my rush to scoop up some things from the bottom of the sink of soapy water, I sliced my middle finger on the right hand on a cat food zip top.
Normally when I remove these I rinse and toss in the recycle....brain fart on my part to toss it into the water.
I didn't even feel the cut, just saw all this red stuff going everywhere. Once I realized it was my own blood, I kinda stared at the spot watching it pump out.
Wrapped in paper towel and applying pressure did not seem to stop it. Wow....sometimes a cut is just a minor inconvenience, but this time I did it up right! ha ha
No worries though, it really is nothing now that I slathered it in antibiotic ointment and bandaged it.
Silver lining is I am relieved of dish washing for today and maybe even tomorrow! woo hoo!
TGIF is what I'd be shouting today if I was still working. Have a great Friday and weekend all!

, that's why they're called accidents, huh? Just one brain-fart and we can find ourselves in a mess of trouble. That's how I broke my leg...I was exiting our friends' trailer, someone said something to me, I turned around, and whomp!! That was the day my life changed and continues to remain a problem; life has never been the same.
I hope your finger doesn't cause you that much trouble, but be careful of washing dishes again for oh.....days!! Weeks, maybe!! :tongue:
So the only news on CTV this morning is about Nygard's extradition...if I hear ONE more person talk about his discomfort in jail, I swear I'll scream out loud!! What about the discomfort of those young girls he abused? Humiliated?! I hope he's put in the general population in jail and becomes a favourite girlfriend of BUBBA!! I don't give a hot damn how old he is...he had his jollies, those poor girls are getting less satisfaction from an 80yr old being deprived of freedom for the rest of his short life...this should have happened when he was still the prancing peacock he was!!
And what about his enabalers?! Where are they? I'm rarely this disgusted, but this guy deserves no consideration of anything whatsoever for ever!!
Not much going on here, I've put away my summer clothes in a see-through bin, lol...and today I'll go through my winter clothes that I don't wear anymore. Like our DD's pile of about 4 green garbage-bags full, some still have tags on them. I kept them from my last purge, but still they don't appeal to me...funny how our tastes, needs change. My Hubby has to do the same.
Ok!! Enjoy your day, everyone...it's a dull day, the kind that looks like snow could fall any minute! Gah!!

I saw this wonderfully looking rich decadent dessert on an Insiders email.
It was a layered pumpkin apple pie! Yes. BOTH pumpkin AND apple in the one pie.
I was tempted to make it, but hrmph! There is too much of a time commitment to suit me.

Update about Stella the cat...eve and her are not bestfriend yet hahaha but they tolerate themselves in their space...Stella is very affective compared to eve,but each own have their caracter and I like that this way.Stella want to play and escape outside so we have to watch her very closely.Tonight she went on the couch to see me and have affection first time she was doing that !!!:)It was cute :)This week end I will attempt to brush her with her special brushes no needles but ..I want her to familarize with that again.She is with us since 2 week now!!! :)Wow time fly
