Omgosh, that "l'area oolala"!!! Not an exact translation, lol, but too cute!!

8 this morning, up to 20 but without the sunshine we've enjoyed lately.

I finally found the hot cocoa mix I want to make for our Grandson, with the addition of chocolate or vanilla pudding powder as well as cocoa and a square of finely grated dark chocolate and sugar! Cant wait to assemble and try it!

Good day my friends! It's always great to pop in and catch up on the latest!
I would like to wish everyone a wonderful thanksgiving! Despite our first world problems we still have much to be thankful for!
Food,friends,fun and frivolity are all fantastic and all begin with the letter "F" which this post is brought to you by this Friday in the Fall!
Now only if we had an update on Frankie Feathers!
Life continues on, some days better than others but hey I'm outta bed and able to walk and use this gizmo. Just gotta get a better routine.
Still trying to figure one out.
In this neck of the woods we still have warm temperatures and overcast skies. So the fall colours aren't as vibrant nor plentiful yet.
My body is telling me I've been on here long enough so I must go. Take care my friends!

Good day all. Thanksgiving feast has come and gone for us, that's what you get for celebrating it on whatever day ya darn well please! ha ha .. No regrets. It was delightful to have 2 of our 3 kids here at least. We sent DD home with a Thanksgiving Care bag for her older bro.
DH and her delivered it to him Uber Eats style as in dropping it off at the lobby....ha ha

I thought I'd try a new Fall style meatloaf in hopes of recapturing some of the turkey time festivities for the 3 of us still here.
It's called Maple Glazed Turkey Meatloaf....I am willing to give it a whirl...love using fresh herbs always. ( Thyme and parsley in this one ) .

Hope whoever is doing the full on sit down meal this weekend....enjoy every morsel of food, every slurp of the wine ( or gravy, I won't judge ) as well as enduring any infighting over vaccinations that may pop up. That has become a real thing now....immediate family members UN-invited from the annual feast for not getting jabbed.
Brace yourselves, and try to bring love to the table instead.
