Hoping that everyone had a great weekend.
I need to harvest the last set of veggies from my DH gardens Since it’s getting colder now.
what a coincidence @flemeth as DH came from the backyard late yesterday with a large batch of fresh lettuce, saying the same thing....it's getting too cold now.
Happy Monday to all.....I'll provide a little update on one of the the MLB games.
It was an amazing comeback win last night for the Atlanta Braves! Dodgers figured they had game 2 locked up, but a Braves 2 run homer in the 8th tied the game and one more in the bottom of the 9th sealed L.A.'s fate. They are down 2-0 in the series now.
Game 3 is at 5 p.m. today. I know we'll be channel flipping between that, the Astros and Red Sox and the Leafs game....busy night ahead for us! ha ha
Morning all.
Good morning....we received a call from our nephew yesterday that my Husband's older Brother passed away from his battle with cancer. We'll attend his memorial service on Friday, so it was a quiet day here.
Our garden has given us all we needed this summer, the last of the cherry tomatoes and large tomatoes have been picked, basil frozen, so that's it. I think next year well just plant milkweed and butterfly bush if it can grow in a zone 4. We'll spend longer periods camping since our GS will be working there which means the kids will likely do the same. A nice long summer of camping.
Sad to hear of Colin Powell's passing...from covid complications. He was double vaxxed so he must have another issue that hindered his recovery.
