Chat-a-Thon 2017-18 Thread!

Good day my friends! -31 with windchill!! while DS in Oz is thankful his a/c works so well.
Decided to send him screenshot of today’s weather here!
Not too much different in life as still haven’t figured out when doing too much is too much! My current method is to do whatever and if I hurt later it’s too much!
Walking is still a blessing despite the weather(except today when being warm and alive makes more sense).
DW finally back to work so I can now return to my normally scheduled life. I didn’t hear her counting down the days till she was back to work so all is well with us!
Whatever you find yourselves up to this weekend stay warm and safe!

I will take both @flemeth ('s) and @Skippy ('s ) wise advice and stay in! DH or DS can stroll over to grab my meds for me. The Saturday plan was to head out to NF.....but the grocery list of items I compiled can wait until tomorrow to shop for.
Hope that the temps are warmer then.

Skippy the method you use to determine if pain the next day is the result of too much physical energy expended? Yeah that is the same method I use when I am at the dinner table, the breakfast nook or when enjoying lunch.
After the meal if I am lumbering towards the nearest horizontal resting place, and succumb to a knockout sleep then I know I've overdone it.

Well this is early!!

I guess I finally caught up my loss of sleep because of my asthma and coughing. I finally asked Hubby to pick up my two puffers, and I'm getting some relief. And sleep!

So all the unvaccinated, unboosted kids are heading back to school tomorrow, so let's all just stay home for the next two weeks while it all plays out.

More NFL playoffs today, both the Raiders and the Patriots lost yesterday, so it was a great day of football!

I will insert my very cheery Sunday morning greeting in here.
This is before I have brewed a coffee, so proof that I am cheery!
Last night was fun, lots of sports to follow. We flipped back and forth and were able to enjoy snippets of both the Patriots losing and Raptors winning.
However, the game that had us on edge were the Leafs vs St Louis. Blowing a 3-1 lead in the first was par for the course for our boys ( Marner is back!! ) but the final and go ahead goal came from Mikheyev.
Watch the clip from the 23 second time stamp mark. ha ha !!!

@flemeth You're DH was NOT alone in cursing! Here we were high fiving each other in the first period with Liljegren getting his first NHL goal, then Marner scoring on his first day back from the covid, and of course Bunting, Matthews and Captain Johnny too.
But when the Blues went ahead.....the colour went out of both our faces!
We forgave them, the win made up for all the blunders.

Well if this dumping of snow hasn't brought enough of you to your knees ( screaming like me ) then you are not in my club!
Of all the days for Mother Nature to have a tantrum! Dr. appt for me at 10:15.
Sucks big time. DH is an absolute sweetheart for doing all the heavy lifting....out there right now clearing the vehicle, the driveway, and the walkway.
I'm sipping my first coffee. ( very blessed )
