There's some here in this room (not sure how many...but I'm sure there's a few) who know how tumultuous (to put it lightly) our relationship on SC started.
Back the I never would have thought we'd be the kind of friends we are today.

Good Monday morning one and all! Birthday? Oh brother @GoJays I missed it? Hope the day was worth getting up for, by that I mean for the duration of your birthday you alone got to hold the t.v. remote and had many hours with no family member asking you where something of THEIRS was.
Not to mention ( but I will ) being showered with non practical b'day gifts....so no small kitchen appliances or GC's to stores your DH and kids like to buy from. Pampering is the name of the b'day game, so personal, poignant, hand written coupons from your kids are acceptable forms of love.
( you know the kind? " 10 free hugs " )

Whatever happened on your special day I hope it started with strong coffee and finished at cake.

Well friends I certainly have picked the right day to post (I do drop in more often to read) because my sinuses have been pounding for hours and it’s probably because of this wonky wet weather. To top it off there’s an excavator across the road making holes for test samples of the ground.
If this is the biggest problem of my day then I am blessed.
Time for me to get off this as perhaps it’s not helping me any.

We ( my Hubby, actually), thought our fridge freezer fixer guy might have actually fixed it! Originally he admitted defeat, it heeds a new condenser? Compressor? Anyway, it meant a new fridge which is hard enough to find in white with an outside water and ice dispenser. But, he says, he'll try something: replacing the sensor! And it worked all day yesterday! Hubby thought that was the answer. Nope, the freezer's temp is back up, so this time I think its new fridge time IF the ones I saw yesterday are still available! No Whirlpool, though...

Just an optometrist appt with a new gal who still takes OHIP, so that's a date for Hubby and I, lol!

I have a contact number to call to find out if there's a clothing etc collection here for likely in-coming Ukrainian refugees; our DD wants to start a collection at her office and our GS's school, bless her heart.

Ok! Feels like another cup of coffee!
