Good night, everyone....had a busy week with a Friend who came to visit with her doggie on her best behavior..wonderful, happy, and poignant moments shared.
It's raining again, and if the Farmer's Almanac has it right, that's going to be our summer this year. But the grass will be green!! :tongue:

Good morning folks! I totally got mixed up with days this week. Thankfully my pastor is coming today ( instead of yesterday ) Got a lot of running around to do. It's predicting rain for "at least 120 minutes" so I guess it's rain gear for the puppy and I. Just trying to defeat a migraine before I get up.
I have been kind of stunned about the tragedy in Manchester. My mum and dad were from there. I have relatives there. My mum shared a story about my dad going to a "football" game to see Man U play when they were first married. Fans were so determined to get in that they were climbing up and over the back of the stands. One whole section of the stands collapsed with many casualties. But, with no "social media" or portable radios at the time, other fans were unaware of what happened. She described the Hell she went through until he walked through the door. He still didn't know anything was really wrong as he was at the other end of the stadium.
I feel numb thinking about those poor families. My prayers go out to them and all families that are suffering losses.
Well, must get on with my day.

Gosh, where has the week gone? I imagine for some of you it's been too long already, huh? Well tomorrow's Friday, so yippee!!!
I've been pouring over baby quilt patterns for one of our DD's girlfriends, but until I know whether it's a boy or girl, I can't start anything! The baby is due in September, so I have a wee bit of time to get it done. :)
You all have a wonderful Friday....and I sure hope it's sunnier where you are. It's supposed to clear up for the weekend, but I don't think we'll head to camp, not sure if the kids are going since the contractors may still be building that 42' deck on their trailer and behind it, and who knows if they'll have stairs, either, so we're all on hold. Truth be told, though, this miserable weather hasn't done me any favours lately, so I may just take a little more time at home to recuperate from the hateful humidity.
