TGIF folks. A busy-sh a.m. here Cooked up a double batch of one of my favourite go-to pureed soups. ( Roasted Red Pepper and Cauliflower ), it's the cayenne and smoked paprika that give it character. This time the yield was 9 x 1 cup servings.
A minimal dietary treat coming in at just a hair over 100 calories a serving.
In other " clueless " news...... I posted about my lack of awareness in the " what song are you listening to " thread.

Have a wonderful weekend all!
Whoa Nelly! I was mistaken about the soup, I actually yielded 14 cups! And you all know what that means? I can eat more of it....Just 61 calories a cup....Lunch here I come!Last edited by walkonby; Fri, Mar 25th, 2022 at 12:24 PM.

Happy Friyay!!!
I’ve got a shorter day today but it’s a really hard day so wish me luck .
Hopefully the weather will cooperate and I can get to the track tonight to get back to my 10k run training. It’s been a bit of a struggle to get the training done.
Have a great Friday

Good morning!
Yes, @danger_dan , it's a lovely 2nd place f-word....for those who still have to work, poor muffins.
@GoJays , just good morning, thank you for the giggles again.
@harbie , good luck on your tough day, but wow....10k run training?!
@walkonby , I'd better hop on the soup bandwagon again, your recipes inspire me to behave. Dang it.
Have a happy day, everyone!

Here's how a Mom can have a heart-attack:
So I was chatting with our DD this morning, she was sick with a sore throat yesterday, flu-ish, but better this morning and tested negative for covid.
We're having a lovely conversation, when suddenly she SCREAMS: "WHAT THE F***???!!!", I hear banging, then she says OMG!...then hangs up.
Um......of course my mind is doing back-flips, what the "F" indeed, who's at the door, who's bleeding to death...what's going on?! I send my Hubby over, 3 blocks away, he's there for a while, then walks in the door:
Her 2 girlfriends, one from ThunderBay, the other from the Sault, flew and drove here to kidnap her for a girls' weekend spa, for her 45th b'day!!!!!!
Omg!! They saw my Hubby driving in and said to her...ohhhh, you should have called your Mom right back! Lol!!!
So they dropped in for big love-hugs, we usually only see them for a girls' weekend at camp in the summer, and now they're off to do some shopping, lunch-ing, then the hotel, dinner out, spa tomorrow...omg....I think my heart's beating normaly now.
That's how Moms can die of heart-attacks!!!

No disrespect @Lynn49 but I could not stop laughing!! I KNOW, it sounds cruel initially but once I read what had actually happened after that ominous " WTF " outburst your DD made....., my funny bone was activated!!

Good day my friends! IÂ’ve been up six hours already and have done all the work that IÂ’m going to as my body says so! Normally I would ignore it but itÂ’s new to me pain areas so best not to!
Speaking of pain has anyone else out there had sinus pain throughout this month? ItÂ’s been tough for me
(if these are my biggest problems then I am doing well compared to many.
ItÂ’s so nice just to sit here and post away. I gave the cat my recliner to sit in otherwise I would be asleep!
Overcast but no snow so I am not going to complain.
Whatever youÂ’re up to this weekend stay safe and well!Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

No sinus pain @Skippy but allergies off and on and a MAJOR headache for the the last 3 days.
This morning was the first day I woke up without a headache. It’s kinda coming back but not bad. I can totally function but I’m definitely taking it easy today. It’s been rough having to work a super physical job while battling the pain. Dh is going to give me another massage today to help. Boy I love that guy.
Today I’m just going to fold some laundry and maybe vacuum otherwise I’m resting and hoping it doesn’t come back. I do need to get a workout in but I may have to continue my walks instead of riding and weights. Off to find something for lunch.
