Diesel here is 241.9 and gas is 231.9. We got diesel for 212.9. It’s insane!

Now I’m off to earn money to pay for the fuel I need to get to work with

Honestly....gas keeps going up, interest rates too and bloody Doug Ford got a MAJORITY!!? The paltry amount of voters that
actually cast votes made him King!
I think I'd prefer another pandemic.

Good morning all you weirdlings!!
Thank you for the giggles this morning.

Gas price at home: 213.9, we fill up just before we hit the island about an hour away, 204.6. It takes the sting out of driving the 1 1/2hrs to and from camp.

@walkonby , it was an interesting turn-out for the election, some are speculating that generally people weren't upset enough to care to vote, just complacent. But I think we're on the right track and I hope he's tough enough to make the changes we need in this province. Let's just hope we made the right decision.

Boy it's quiet here!! Usually by now the place is packed with visiting trailers, but not this time! Some are speculating that now people can once again travel anywhere, re-entry into Canada is easier for them, they're visiting places they couldn't during lock-down, like family, friends...the pendulum will swing back again. It's lovely with just our seasonal gang here, but I'm sure it's quite different for the owners, lol!

We'd love to visit Stratfird again, "Chicago" is playing and we enjoy that movie so much, esp the music. Not sure which Shakespearean play is on schedule, but there is a mask mandate until June 21st, so we're waiting to see if that's dropped before we book anything.

Ok! Off to enjoy a sunny day here!
