Lynn -i had cataract surgery around 50 ish ,then 4 yrs ago i had lazer surgery on one eye as it developed scar tissue over it .Like lilo said the only problem was the eye drops and as lilo said it is so worth it .

I also have a potential future with glucoma(my dad had it) my opthamologist sees me twice a yr now its down to once a year as the pressure on my eyes is not as bad.
Take care and dont worry .I cried when i was told i may have glaucoma a few yrs back ,but now i am okay with it dealing with other health problems (arthritis in my knees) lol

Oh my, @coupongirl , you've also faced and are facing eye challenges. Yes, the glaucoma had me near tears when I told my Hubby (since we're still in the 'no spouse's welcome' stage); it's a scary diagnosis to receive but hearing stories like yours absolutely helps so much! I'm also presently 'under observation. I hope both of us escape our diagnoses; not earth-shattering or lethal, but when it comes to eyesight, it's quite scary enough.

OMG, the story ended quite happily, I followed up on the comments and such, they were all saved and/or adopted.

So.....the parents of one of the TB Lighning team managers was at our GS's b'day....the TB manager guy is our SIL'S cousin and boy are they excited about this game, lol! They're the cutest couple and they'll likely be in TB for one of the playoff games after tonight. I guess it'll be over for NY.

The day was beautiful, fun b'day for our GS's b'day, lots of family and friends, his camp buddies, and it all just ended with a drizzle of rain. The kids are off somewhere on their bikes.

So...exhausted but a day of rest tomorrow. Our GS has to be back in town for his friend's b'day tomorrow, but our DD, Hubby and I will stay until Monday.
