Oh, @GoJays , we’d make a bundle selling those signs! Hahaha!

Upearly this morning, 6am, for Grandson…..he’s showered, packed up for school, I made him scrambled eggs and toast, coffee ….. felt like the olden days when our kids were in high school!

You folks down south might get hit with the tail end of tropical storm Nicole this weekend! Up to 70cm of rain in some places?! Be careful out there, esp if you’re doing any highway driving.

Out soon to gas up the vehicle, then on to both Metro and Dollarama. Tough to begin my Christmas gift wrapping yesterday
when it discovered I had no pretty gift name tags to put on them.
My memory is not anywhere near equipped to leave wrapped gifts with no names on them, so I'll start today maybe.

oh my goodness!! @Lynn49 you and GoJays are relentless! All great for a quick jab at Ms O.
I hit the jackpot at Dollarama this morning finding a few cute and newer Christmas decor items for the table(s).
Invested in 3 more furry plush hats. Everyone must wear a hat at dinner and I only had 6.
These 3 are a longer version, but I chose them for the larger head circumference. Maybe I'll make a game and draw
names to see who gets one of these special 3?

I know, it's Remembrance Day so I should not get so wrapped up in the Christmas energy just yet. Cannot seem to
help myself though. Even last night after watching Jamie Oliver's Special on tv ( Together At Christmas ) I'm THIS close to
wanting to add the Veggie Crown item to our table this year ( gets baked in a Bundt pan! )

I am not even thinking about Christmas as yet @walkonby and @Lynn49 . Maybe I should get on it Christmas train since I have a few little ones to buy for. Not much happening here just regular routine.

I will be baking some bread and as requested some pineapple tarts and cookies to make my morning productive.

@walkonby, our veterans fought for our freedom to celebrate everything whenever we want, so we honour them of course, but we also honour them by recognizing all they fought for: freedom.
I’ve made Hasselback potatoes once before and they were nice, but timing with other dinner things in the stove can be an issue. Have fun with that veggie crown! Will you be doing a trial run? Again, it’s oven room, right? Dinners are usually at the kids’ house, but that might be my contribution one day…Easter? Since there’s no Christmas dinner here this year.
I’m living vicariously through your planning, shopping, wrapping, baking….you go, Missy!! I’m really missing it all!

Enjoy your day, everyone….btw, how did you southerners fare with the tail end of Nicole flying through? Our kids said the fog was very dense there…

Again, another weekend has slipped away. Honestly, this is not something I applied for. That being what it is, at least our Argos won this afternoon and now await ( looks like it may be the Winnipeg Blue Bombers ) the opponents for next weeks Grey Cup!! C'mon Argos, I would love to buy DH another batch of Argos Champs clothing and a new hat!! The old ones from 2017 are but a distant memory.
