hello gang! All I can think about is Game 1 tonight against the Florida Panthers! It's only morning but I'm already getting that jittery feeling. I still have things to get done around here, like pressure cooking up a batch of beef short ribs for the guys. The promise was made so it must be kept. Still trying to stay on course with my own weight loss regimen, so far so good BUT....once those darn ribs start blasting their meaty deliciousness ( aroma ) in the house all bets may be off.

What a hockey game last night as the Devils beat NYR 4-0 in Game 7 !! Sadly our Jays fell in the tied 9th inning to a walk off HR by Boston. Tbh, it was a combo of Kike Hernandez' TWO errors and the Boston Bull Pen pitcher(s) that saw us tie the game in the first place...thanks for that I guess? We'll get 'em in Game 2 tonight!

Good morning all! Wish I was British this morning. I need to have a stiff upper lip after last night when both The Blue Jays and The Maple Leafs fell. The Leafs played their hearts out though! What a fast exciting game. No real regrets, but we need to win the next one!

good day kids! Yes, roll out the May the 4th be with you jokes all day, and in @GoJays case smoke 'em if ya got 'em. Side note here....I actually did not " get " the joke until DS reminded me of the slang term for a joint. Sigh, guess I AM old.
In other great news the CRA strike ended today, so hand over those backlogged refunds to the hard working masses! Another yucky-ish day here. Blah, gloomy, chilly. Too bad I'm forced to head out for a few errands.

@walkonby , we rec'd our refunds last week...essential workers were still working thank goodness...supported by the masses, hahaha!
And please don't become British....then you'd have a monarch and have to pretend to be happy about it.

Off to do some diet grocery shopping....Walks, I did find those pappadums at our Metro, but today it'll be a fast trip to RCSS for stuff
and broughies! The larger size is back in stock, so yay! We'll pick up a few pkgs. At 20calories...fill 'em up!!

Still dull, yucky out, but hopefully our luck should change tomorrow!

you lucky so and so! @Lynn49 I saw that Metro carried the Patak's brand of Pappadums when I searched their website, however all 3 stores I went to had none and some employees looked at me like I had three heads! Had no idea what they were.
Have fun shopping, I'm going out as well, my flyers finally got delivered here about 20 minutes ago.
