Going to do some baking this morning so family an have warm bread when the wake up. Also baking some cup cakes

Good morning sc sleepy heads! @flemeth that aroma of freshly baked bread will sure wake everyone up! I made up 6 burgers this morning using a tube of ground beef that I thawed yesterday but changed my mind about what I was going to use it for. No harm, no foul. BBQ later today.

Busy on Amazon for one-day deliveries while we’re in town. 2 June b’days, one early July and although our neighbours collect what shows up when we’re at camp, I hate to bother them. Too often.

Happy Monday! yeah, that just doesn't look right does it? o.k. Happy " who's name we'll never mention day " .
Weather wise it's pleasant enough and when you have egg salad stuffed into adorable baby cucumber boats as part of your breakfast....well, c'mon. How can anyone not smile at that?
Carry on waiting for those parcels @Lynn49 . These days I keep getting the " faux " ( as in scam ) emails telling me I have a parcel they cannot deliver and if I would JUST provide them with my address! ha ha

Goodness, @walkonby, from a fake Amazon account? Of all the orders I’ve made from that site, I’ve never received a scam email! Guess the bad guys recognize a push-over when they see one. Hahahaha!!!

It’s 23 heading to 29 today…I planted the delphiniums we bought at our friend’s lecture for the horticultural society….whew! Kept them alive for a few weeks!! Some kind of record for plants for me. I think I’ve always tended to overwater.

oops! Sorry @Lynn49 that I did not clarify the emails ( scams ) were NOT from amazon, no. they were generated from a " supposed |" UPS parcel delivery site.
Now funny enough, a while ago when I first got some of the emails the logo was IPS, not UPS.
The distinctive trademark colour of the trucks as well as the employees uniforms were on the page, so it was made to resemble UPS.
I noticed right away it said IPS....ha ha

NOW they have changed the logo to read UPS but who are they kidding? I KNOW I have nothing scheduled arrived by UPS, so into the trash they go.
They're usually in the spam folder anyways. Sorry 'bout that Chief!

Wow, 33 yesterday! We just wanted summer hot, not hell hot! It must be awful for anyone without ac. Although….we never had it growing up, but I recall Mom didn’t open the drapes or windows on those hot days, so we were usually comfortable, at least….

A meeting today, getting help setting up a FB page for our group. No idea why this fell on me, lol, but I should be fine with a little help.

Enjoy the day, everyone….I’ll be outside picking lilacs!! Our tree was so generous this year!
I hate cutting them…but they’ll just wither away out there anyway, right? Still…breaks my heart.

mornin! Lilacs!! DH snipped just a handful from one of our smaller ( still new ) bushes the other day. They were placed in a massive glass beer mug ( his version of a vase ) and their aroma is overpowering everything else in there. Love it!

Tied with my Stargazer lilies later in the season for overwhelming aroma in the home.
Lilacs bring me home to the 'olden days' when our Mom used to fill our home with them this time of year, changing them every few days...that and fresh laundry off the line...two beautiful memories... Enjoy your lilacs, @walkonby !

This time of year our house is just smattered with Lilacs...in every room...in every possible vase, glass, or container.
The Lady loves them, they're her favourite! (...of course she does...they were our wedding flowers)
