Good Tuesday morning!

well now that all gifts have been purchased and wrapped, time to start making a few sweets to make up a tray to put out with a charcuterie board prior to our dinner here with the kids on the 16th. It’s traditional to have them over for a quiet dinner about a week before Christmas.

Tonight we’ll attend our GS’s Christmas concert; he plays sax in the concert band and electric guitar in the jazz band, there’ll be other entertainers, so we’re looking forward to it!

I won’t miss these Christmas commercials, though! I’m wondering if I should buy a food saver that’s apparently saving that single guy “ thousands of dollars!” Every year! 🤣

A quickie jaunt to WM at 7 a.m. to grab Mozzarella cheese. Lasagna cannot be made without it imho. Had to fill up the vehicle with fuel anyway.
The cooked lasagna in both casserole dishes are cooling off on the stovetop. The smaller pan ( 9 x 11 ) I plan to refrigerate to get it solid for slicing into portions.
Then they will get frozen as individual servings. @Lynn49 Ikwym about that commercial where the guy is claiming to save hundreds of $$ using his Food Saver vacuum sealing method. I use mine BUT cannot claim
it is for a true savings perspective. More for keeping ALL the air and moisture out of whatever I am preserving in the deep freeze.

Your evening sounded delightful, the school concert, then visiting with the " kids " . We're counting down the day to our concert date with Chelsea Handler!! Those tickets
were DH's birthday gift.

Good fellow thread dwellers and wannabee thread dwellers! That white stuff fell and stayed this time.Not lots but enough to curtail my walking expeditions today.
My hind paw injury keeps me from doing my duty to clear the snow but for how long?...Again resistance is futile!...
Gotta trudge into T.O. as family member in hospital with fluid in lungs! stupid bugger stopped taking his meds! (it's an even more complicated story).
Christmas family gathering this weekend(due to convoluted schedules) but thankfully DD hosting at her place.
Poured Pepsi down my pants to see if would remove stains...actually did so when trying to balance lunch,drink and cat wanting to get in on the action!
Hope everyone else's day is as exciting and then some!

I'm checking in late, but it's December and there are important Christmassy preps I'm working on. Sorry the white stuff hampered your outside time @Skippy .
I left the house around 8 a.m. today but had no idea it had snowed the night before. Decided I'd clear the path when I got back but by the time I returned and
ate a late brekkie, then napped all the snow had melted!
