Good morning! @GoJays , brilliant! You sure put smiles on my and my Hubby’s faces this morning! And not a swear word in either! How can they possibly be funny? Loved them!!

It looks like the sun has decided to show up this morning! No snow to melt, but as @walkonby posted earlier, it sure lifts our moods.

🤣…I know that when my Hubby doesn’t introduce me to someone it’s because he doesn’t remember that person’s name, so I put my hand out to shake, and say, “Hi, I’m Lynn, nice to meet you.” and they usually respond using their name. Problem solved…for my Hubby, hahaha!

It's afternoon, but I feel like it's still morning? Did an 8 a.m. physio, then a quickie gas fill up followed by trip to FB. Wish I would've continued onto GT for the Belmont burgers on sale but when you run out of " get up and go " it's a reality check. Glad I came back, tossed all the fresh veg/fruits away, squeezed the freezer items into the only available space downstairs, then made that Cuppa Joe and sat for a bit.
The guys already had their work meals figured out and were good to go. Just Friday left, I'll get them something good to take in.

Well, that story ended happily @Lynn49! I thought for a brief moment your husband was going to do something awful like introduce you by your secret name...the one you had before Witness Protection...

This old lady has had enough of this week. My 45 year old knees and wrists have not enjoyed our weather joyride-the other night it was like sleeping on a freight train--so loud and windy. Wasn't it of course garbage day too. I guess the poor lake now owns a few new garbage lids.
@GoJays, I enjoy your eclectic meme selection and often pilfer a few to share with my likeminded friends. I'm sorry you've been having a rough go lately. I'm sending you good vibes (and LCBO recommendations: a Frozen Black Fly lemon drop is the adult slushy you need--or a bottle of Lambrusco--a bubbly fun red). I returned back to work in February after a little break for a couple of months. I think covid and being the product of older parents did me in. Being the good daughter and ex-nurse means most things are for me to attend to.

In other news, I planted two pretty looking peonies in the fall--one a yellow Bartzella and one a deep dark blackish red. I can see today that they are coming up! I also want to get a Little Lime Punch hydrangea to replace a nine bark that appears to be unhappy.

Time to hop into bed--I picked up some amazing flannel sheets from Linen Chest that feel like sleeping in a cloud. (I learned the importance of 'sleep hygiene' while I was off).
