Oh Dear, should we panic yet? KC Royals 10....Blue Jays 1 Bottom of the 4th!?? Max Scherzer pulled in the FIRST INNING ( only the 2nd time in his career) . 48 pitches.
So.....the Blue Jays finally got a win last night! Now, tonight's game ( only televised on Appletv+ ) will there be tears of joy or pain after the game?
Update: We won, a 4-2 final BUT........if I were the Tampa Bay Rays I would've been screaming/protesting the THREE balls that were so far out of
the strike zone and were called strikes in the top of the 9th.
We've had quite a few horrible calls made against us by umpires so maybe this was a gift from the Baseball Gods?
An ugly win is still a win!

Still feeling the effects of a one time sit down feast. On Sunday afternoon the meal went off beautifully, I had the best dinner guests
( all family! ) who pitched in to be the " staff " bringing dish after dish to the dining room table. You know that part of a story that says
" But, wait, there's more!?".
That was what it was like trying to fit things on the table without knocking something else over. ha ha Turned into a comedy sketch.
Despite the jockeying of plates, then trucking it all back to the kitchen after we gorged ourselves...I must say this was a memorable
Thanksgiving. So very glad DH and I went ahead with the plan.

pitcher Max Scherzer was left bewildered! He challenged his manager when Schneider walked out to the mound to take him out in the 5th.
Scherzer " expressed " his intention to stay in and the manager walked back to the dugout. HILARIOUS!!

Some members might question a retiree penciling in R & R so soon, but I was up
quite early and productive making that batch of Chicken/mushroom Stroganiff.
The flavour of it is out of this world.
I used fresh thyme leaves and fine diced celery leaves for herbs because whiny
babies here " don't like cilantro '. Then the smoked paprika, white wine,
Worcestershire sauce and GOLD sour cream finished it off. YUMMO!
