Good morning folks! Groupon cleaning service coming at 11 . I said that I would provide the cleaning products So I had better check out the stash.
Floors, carpets and bathrooms are the emphasis.

I hear the cat attacking, or should I say "Gently reminding" BrotherR to get up. BrotherR does not sound so inclined.

It's a PD day today and my younger nephew is going off to a youth camp near Collingwood with his church youth group this weekend. Maybe I need to get a couple of hugs in before he goes.

Natalka, I hope that you are getting better so you can wish us a "Happy Caturday" tomorrow!

@danger_dan , as much as I detest rap, those guys are hilarious! I'm not inclined to show that to my DH...a little too "out there" for him..hahaha!! He took his motorcycle to golf this morning, more his 'speed'....and omgoodness, YES to the weather!! We hit 28 yesterday, today it's supposed to hit 26...it's 22 now, feels like 29; it's going to be wicked hot for the last hurrah of summer!
@avoncallingu , how's the skunk situation this morning? Btw, yes, I'm so proud on you for not taking on yet another committee. Time enough for that when your world starts spinning a little slower. 4 more sleeps until we see you!!

DD is off to zip-lining with the gang this morning...I think she said it's 8 ziplines that they have today and get this: a slide down the entire mountain!! I just want to hear from her tonight!! Then I can start breathing again.

Not much on my agenda today, but I'm feeling pretty good, so as @walkonby said, we do a little more on days when we can say that. So I'll go up the hill here, to Michaels (coupons in hand), then HomeSense and try to resist buying anything but I know resistance is futile, then Marshalls....depends on how long I last.

Hi, Dan...he has a locker at the clubhouse for his clubs, shoes, etc. He only golfed 9 this morning so that he could come home and walk the pups before it gets too beastly hot....what a day!!!!

14° but going up to 31° with a humidex of 38°!

Should get my bathing suit on and run through the sprinklers! A family doen the way had a pd day "picnic" on their lawn yesterday - complete with wading pool and hammock. Lots of fun for the kids!
They have actually re-opened a couple of municipal pools for the weekend.

Well, Bennie the cat is obviously trying to get BrotherR to wake up. ("Stop!" is what I can hear through the wall) We now have a Westminster chimes clock and I think Bennie takes his cue from that.

So, as The Moody Blues would say... The day has begun.

Isn't the weather fantastic?! Finally, summer has arrived! Dd texted that she sure picked the wrong time to go to Costa! It's been lousy all summer, but when she leaves, it arrives! It's her kind of weather....we're heading up to 28 today, haven't checked the humidex, but I'm sure it's up there. Enjoy a nice cuppa tea and relax on you balcony...that's an order, Missy!

My sewing machine needs to go into the shop, it's doing a little bumping along, so it's probably the timing that needs adjusting. Oh, well......just another day off.....
@Natalka , missing you here, but hoping and praying that you're getting the treatment you need to get well again. If you're in the hospital you're in a good place, being cared for...rest, restore your health, get well soon. Hugs and prayers!
