    Good morning folks!
So glad to hear an update from Natalka! That is a scary journey she has been on but thankfully moving towards wellness.

I have joined a grief-support walking group. They walk on local trails on Thursday mornings. So it's an early morning for me. Busy day ahead. Will be sleeping at my BrotherB 'so place tonight to make sure my nephews have a human "alarm clock" to get them off to school tomorrow,. And charity clothing exchange tonight. Women of all ages, sizes , etc. bring their unwanted clothes. We all then "shop" and the money goes to a women's charity. (Laughs, goodies and beverages abound. )

So I am cleaning out my closet for a good cause. And may find some new things to restock it.

Well, must get moving. I can hear the world has started to "seize the day"

All the best to everyone for a satisfying fall day!

    G'day, everyone!
@avoncallingu , I forgot that I had a pneumonia shot a couple of years ago. I'll have to find out how long they're good for, iirc, I don't get one every year. I'm on my way to bronchitis, then pneumonia at the moment, which is typical of colds for me, dang it. If I go to a clinic too early, I don't sound sick enough for antibiotics, so I wait until my chest hurts from coughing and breathing, then I can have an antibiotic. I'll try our doc's clinic....

Back to bed here. I hope you all have a lovely, sunny day.

Oh dear, Lynn! Humidifier? With eucalyptus oil? Hope your cough doesn't get any worse. My grandfather used to recommend "mustard plasters" some concoction of mustard on a cloth on his chest. Oiy!
Back from my walk. Boy it's cold out there! Should have had another layer on my back!

Going to make spaghetti for the young 'uns this evening so have to do a little shop.

    Chat later.

    YES!!! Thank you, @walkonby!!!
I knew he'd clean up nicely!!
He was also the captain in the movie Titanic.
Whew!! My search is over....I thought he was from LOTR, but I couldn't find
him, even looking though the images from the movie....yay! Lost is found!!

Oh goodness yes, @avoncallingu...I remember "mustard plasters" being mentioned by the old folks when I was a kid. Thank goodness nothing like that was in vogue as a kid. As for steam, nope. I spent all of 2 minutes in the steam room with our DD when she and I had our spa day before I couldn't breathe anymore. The fog felt very confining, too. I had to break out..lol. The saltwater pool and hot tub were very nice, however. I do have a prescription for dextromethorphine (sp) so I took a couple of tsp of that...it just hides the cough, which is nice, but I hope it also halts the onset of bronchitis.

Lynn - you could try Vicks Vapo Rub on your upper lip. Guaranteed to remove lip hair(lol) and then you just breathe in the vapours. When I was a kid in England - the drs. all recommended to "paint the throat" with some god-awful concoction that they tried to paint at the back of the throat (like where your uvula is) - gag!! Mum only tried it once.

    Take care!

Walks, you don't know how true that is for me! Not the whole drinking thing, although I believe it calls for more research, but the water...i really hate the stuff! It makes me gag! I drink it with my meds but only as little as it takes to get them down. Blah. Ppphhhht. Yuck.
I am drinking water now though, but it's the Blue Menu sparkling water with blueberry pomegranate one.
