@Lynn49 have a good day and hope everything goes well this afternoon, and good news on hicks thanks.
@walkonby Hope everything goes well with your sears call. I heard of people being on hold for hours or being hung up on. People that did get to talk to someone said the person had no idea what the customer was talking about and couldn't help. Hope it goes much better for yourself.

Morning Kids.... Day after hump day eh... Wasn't around yesterday, had to drive into city on the farthest side for a 7:00 appointment, had to leave here like 5:30 am. By the time I got home, I had to lay down, I was exhausted.
Happy Birthday, gryphon....

Well THAT was a waste of mascara!
Dipped into Sears this morning to look thru stuff, mostly upstairs...20% off isn't a sale, although there were things at 50% off...DH might be able to pick up a hedge trimmer and something else if anyone can find the warranty for that company (not sears). I lasted a half hour before I spiked a temp and had to sit down, so not quite over this thing. DH went back for his items which were at a very good price.
So how's everyone today?? Bright and shiny as it is here, I hope! 15 today but it feels much warmer than that for some odd reason.
@walkonby , Honey.....9 more weeks until Christmas!!!! I'd never forget to remind you....
Have a great day, everyone!!!
@22hicks ...a couple bluebirds for you and everyone today!

flemeth and I are the only ones up?? ha ha Good morning TGIF lovers!
The Cubs got swept ( and badly again ) last night. I am thinking unless the Astros pull off a miracle 2 game comeback with win(s) it will be the Yankees and Dodgers in the final.
Our Leafs are in first place!! ha ha
The fridge is filled with yummy comfort food goodness.
A beef stew and a chili, made both yesterday. Have I mentioned a hundred times yet how much I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my pressure cooker? It is massively large and works so well. Glad we replaced the old one that never worked well anyways.
Oh my!! I better think about Xmas shopping....as I ONLY have 9 weeks left till the day is upon us!
Thanks for the reminder @Lynn49 ( who is the brat now? lol )Last edited by walkonby; Fri, Oct 20th, 2017 at 02:18 PM.

Good morning, everyone!
I slept in until 10 again this morning thanks to this bronchitis kicking the energy out of me and my Benedryl caps that get me through the night without coughing.
Dinner this evening with golf friends, although it'll be very different with the loss of one of DH golf buddies to cancer a few months ago. So terribly sad, he was such an active, friendly person....dam☆ cancer.
@walkonby , yes absolutely get a jump on your Christmas shopping!! Time is fleeting, Missy! As to that Sears "sale", I don't consider 20% off anything is a sale. I don't know about clothing because I just went directly upatairs where the decor/cooking items were. It made me realize how little I've purchased at Sears over the years! But I am going to miss it just being there to wander around in or walk through, as I usually did. DH got a killer deal on hedge clippers and chain saw, not Craftsman so it has its own warranty, although those things aren't usually worth the paper they're printed on. I bought a pair of slippers. I doubt I'll go back. I wonder how the sales went elsewhere.
Okay! Everyone, have a beeeeeautif summery day!l Happy Friday!!
