Hello.

Thank goodness that flu only lasted a day or so; I was so concerned it was that horrible one that's been hitting people. I just could not warm up last night, had the heat in the house jacked up, DH had to flip more blankets on me since I was too cold to get out of bed. Usually I'm fine at 69F at night but not last night! Much better today.

The kids plus grandson are all down with a real flu...DD tried driving to work today (had her air-conditioner on in the van), lasted a half hour and went right back home again. SIL's flu lasted 5 days, so they'll be together for a while. Alone.

@avoncallingu, poor Tootie seems to having a time of it, poor critter, and she sure doesn't have any weight to lose, either! Have you tried hand-feeding her anything, like a softened muffin in milk or some such? I hope she's at least drinking water.

@22hicks, great news about not having surgery!! I hope if anything else is going on that it'll be treated easily with great drugs.

Well here it is 11 p.m., I slept a whole 20 minutes.
Very boring day/evening without cable/internet, our whole side of the city east of the river was out. I've!

I'm going to try sleep again. Hope you all have lovely dreams and restful sleep!

Tootie has started eating -Bbq chicken!!! And she's had a couple of drinks so I hope she can get the oral pain meds down in the morning.

Tomorrow - well, today now is 1 year since my DH passed.
Bought some lovely orange/yellow roses tonight at Zehrs-when I got them home -there were 14 in the bunch -we were together for 14 years. A "love gift" my friend says.
Some friends are coming over for lunch and then maybe watch a movie on TV or a little walk as I don't want to leave Tootie.

"I will be reading the lyrics to "For Good" (a song from Wicked) tomorrow for sure.

So sorry you're still having sleeping problems @Natalka ; that's really not healthy.
I too had trouble last night. Was watching the Leaf game & kept falling asleep, so went to bed mid 2nd period. Wouldn't you know it, I hit the pillow & was wide awake. Finally drifted off about between 3 & 3:15. Very annoying.

Well I'm off. Have to get some groceries.

@dededi ...I just LOVED that show! All the shows back then: simply problems, simply solved in a half hour! I think I loved all the fashions and dresses the most, however!

@Lynn49 or anyone else really wondering what you think of this chair for $259.. My friend thinks it's no good because it has no arms but I was like screw arms haha. It still looks comfortable to me. Any thoughts on it, thanks.
