oh my!! I was wracking my noggin just now while watching this older weirdo flick called Running With Scissors ( and I do mean WEIRDO flick!) and I was absolutely convinced an actor in it was Christopher Meloni ( you know from Law & Order SVU ?), anyhow.... turns out it is Joseph Fiennes!

ha ha ......I know I sound bored and a bit off kilter right now, but I LOVE trying to guess who the actors are in movies I never saw before.

Yeah weird about the tuna. Probably just wasn't in stock at their Mississauga warehouse so came from Calgary.

Why pain cabbie?

Mostly my gout but recently I have no energy and I'm always worn out and lots of back pain. I finally found a doctor taking new patients here a couple weeks ago (It's hard here to find a doctor) and they said it will take a couple months for them to set up a first appointment. I actually haven't worked for a full year now since last February.

Hello folks!

Today was the 19th anniversary of my father's passing. I had a very distinct dream of him with me two nights ago. It was a day like today -very sunny but cold.

I managed to meet a friend for lunch and a visit to Value Village for Senior's Day.. We were buying sweaters that she makes into beautifully lined mittens. She made me a pair for Christmas which I lost. She is going to make me another pair and also a couple of pairs for our church silent auction on Pancake Tuesday.

I also took Tootie for her follow-up visit to the vet. We are now trying pills to counter her constant paw-licking.

Down the line a bit she will need more surgery to spay her to prevent complications which happen with dogs who have been over-bred and never spayed.

I have been moving forward with sorting papers that wound up being stuffed into drawers and boxes as I was moving.

I have found the speech that my dh made at my retirement - pictures of us on various trips -Cleveland to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - The Grand Canyon and Spain. We did a lot of travelling in our time together.

I found the paper that I wrote out my wedding vows on. Whew- how did all these things wind up together? I'll get it all organized and filed.

I'm smiling at the beautiful memories.

Well, I'm going to meet another friend for lunch tomorrow.

So, will bid you good night.
