Good morning!
Well, we finally got an inch or so of snow last night. Back ti snowboots and a winter coat. It's looked like mid spring, no snow anywhere on roads, sidewalks...since @avoncallingu brought it north to us! Are you here again, Avon?!
Off to the quilt fabric store for a little bit of fabric for curtains to coordinate with my blue and white antique plate collection that will be put up on the wall next to the side door. Just a strip or ruffle on the white cotton. Should look nice and fresh.
Have a great day, everyone!

Well, I woke up to a very bright bedroom thanks to the lovely reflective blanket of snow on the ground. So, Lynn, I am using my "Frozen" powers right here.
My sweet Tootie is in heat so the vet is conferring with the surgeon about whether to go ahead with the surgery and when.
BrotherB 's doggie will spend the March Break with their vet as the kind soul didn't want him spending the time at a kennel with other dogs-he might tear out the stitches in his foot.
Must get moving. Hump day awaits! Have a great day, everyone!

@avoncallingu , as long as you keep your "Frozen" powers down there, I'm happy!
So Tootie almost made it to surgery, didn't she? Dang it all. Can they do the surgery when she's in heat???
Picked up my fabric this morning, made "green" egg salad sandwich filling (added an avocado), and it's yummy. Unfortunately lunch will have to wait an hour or so.
Hope y'all are having a very good day!

A great and happy Wednesday morning to everyone!! ( is it obvious I slept in till well after 9 a.m. today? )
I did some " cheater cooking " this morning by pulling a premade lazy cabbage casserole and some premade meatballs and sauce out of the freezer. Defrosted both, then boiled up what was left of my premade fresh pasta noodles.
Days like these give me the feeling of accomplishment with very little effort!
Bracing for snow here.....not happy about that.
I have too many shows backed up in the pvr queue....may have to make some tough " delete " decisions later on....lets face it I cannot watch everything.....or can I???
ha ha

Good afternoon I hope everyone is having a good day. Starting in the next couple days I'm changing my entire diet kinda upside down at least for a couple months. I want to see what happens. Lots of cucumbers, banana's, strawberries, chia seeds, oats, almond milk, lemon juice, etc. I pretty much want to have smoothies, oatmeal and see what happens. Then adjust it as needed in a couple months. I'll see how this goes for a while.

@cabmonk , is this new way of eating to deal with your gout pain? A sort-of anti-inflamatory diet??

I don't really know what it is lol. I'm getting tired of always eating crap and this is probably going to the extreme in the other direction. I want to see how my energy is and if it helps me lose weight. I drive myself crazy figuring out what to eat that I tend to buy crap. I would love salads maybe too so I'll see what I do.

Cabbie, if you cut carbs from your diet, be prepared for a solid week of exhaustion. I cut them last year about this time and I was ALWAYS tired. But it passed after awhile. Lost a few pounds also.... but then Christmas happened and I have to start all over again I ate meat, fruit and vegetables. I didn't cut fats out so bacon was A-ok.. lol. It wasn't quite a Paleo diet but along the same lines.

@GoJays Thanks, I'll see what happens and hope it's good. I have been eating but have been so disinterested in food so have been grabbing garbage because it's easy to do.
