Of course you may, @Lynn49 I hate the cyclists because they use the narrow back roads here all summer long and many times they ride three or four side-by-side. But of course there are signs that say 'share the road'. Bah, I'd like to share my boot with them right up their.... well, you know.

Good Afternoon, my dear friends. Well vegetable oil, pumpkin, chicken broth-nothing has worked for the pooch so far. I am about to go out to see "West Side Story" and tomorrow morning have very early joint church and choir. But I just may try a glycerine suppository if she hasn't gone tomorrow morning.
Hoping you've had a fun Saturday. Got to see my nephew play a little baseball. His team is tied for 1st in a weekend tournament but we're outplayed this afternoon.
This election is a real nail biter. I am down to one left.
Any way it goes, it will be a lot of people happy and a lot of people sad.
Got to run and take a little girlie for another mini-walk.

^^^ ha ha who couldn't snuggle up to that puss!!?
Good day everyone. Been a little productive this morning, the usual though, last bit of dryer items folded, few dishes, cat litter, pets food, they went out for their business, etc. All fun stuff.
Made the guys up a small nacho layered dip ( cream and grated cheddar cheeses, taco sauce, diced veggies ) and made myself a 3 bean salad...both are chilling up to have later today
A little improvement on the Rufus back end issue. For 2 full days now all both dogs have eaten is cooked basmati rice with pieces of boiled chx breasts, bit of chx broth added into it as I was unsure as to how much Rufus had been drinking.
When that food ran out I made more rice and mixed in cooked, rinsed and drained lean ground beef and added broth to that too. DS thought I was making a mixture of something up for us and made the yummy sound till I told him it was for the dogs!
I filled each of their bowls only 2 times each day, ( early a.m. and then around 9 at night ) no doggy treats given at all either and thank heavens that nasty mess in the house has subsided. DH laughed and said " yeah when ya don't eat ya tend not to Sh*t ....lol Such class he has.
They seem absolutely fine, and truth be told Murphy on his last physical at the vet was told to NOT get any bigger, he has maxed out apparently on the weight before they start calling him fat! Poor guy
he is only around 25 lbs.....meanwhile Rufus is such an old man now ( 14 yrs ) but only weighs 19 lbs.
Rufus is way nastier if he has a beef bone though...Murphy doesn't dare to walk near him at that time.
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!!Last edited by walkonby; Sun, Jun 3rd, 2018 at 07:31 AM.

G'day everyone! Happy Sunday!!
DH walked Jenny and our GS rode his bike to his home, they cleaned the pool and now GS is having a nice swim. Good luck with getting him out of it! Thank goodness DH thought to phone, they were gone far too long for "a walk" and I was starting to get worried. He knows me by now.
I hope everyone is having a really lovely day; it's finally a more summery day here, I actually had to put the heat on for a while yesterday! Today, windows all open, not muggy, just a nice warm/cool breeze.
@walkonby , that rice finally did the trick and stopped those poopages in the house, huh? Rice can do that, that's for sure. I recall when when doctors used to recommend rice pablum as the first food to give babies and I thought, why on earth?! That'll stop them up for sure! I started with a mixed grain and everything proceeded normally. Stupid doctors in those days! Maybe they're still forcing that on new mothers.
So, not much new here, the kids will be home after their round of golf this morning, they should be just about done by now. DD packed her golf clothes, you know...little short skirts, polo shirts, and when they tee'd off on Friday morning, it was 5 degrees! Yikes, hahaha!! That was probably a tich cool for those gals!
Take care, everyone, have a relaxing Sunday!
