Been a long week...not over yet though, one more day of paper work and deadlines.

Good morning folks! Waiting for my head to stop pounding so I can get up and walk the dog. I will be hopping from one restaurant to another today and then a wedding rehearsal. (Such a social butterfly -ha!)

If you're not on Facebook, you won't know that Hicks has introduced a new "fella". They have been seeing each other since March.

Happy she has found someone with whom she feels a connection.

tee hee.... I liked the pics posted by @dededi and @flemeth but as usual could not rep either of you.
Yesterday our guys did it!!!
The Calder Cup!! Our Marlies are Champs!! What a series. Went to a game 7 and if anyone DID watch last night it was an unofficial shutout for Sparks!! NO GOAL!!
Those refs are blind! After challenging the goal and reviewing the footage, they still said it was a good goal!!???
It was clear to everyone who watched it on the big screen at Ricoh Centre and the crowd started chaning " F the Refs " for a good while after....ha ha
well.....only until we scored another one on Texas and then 2 empty netters for good measure!!
Final 6-1

They interviewed some of the young players and the F bomb was dropped on live tv! The kid apologized right away, the excitement just got the better of him and he forgot he was being broadcasted out I guess.
Oh and I cried right along with Travis Dermott when they spoke with him. He could not play the 7th game ( injury ) but was there in the 6th game.

Sigh, now tonight we have to switch back to baseball.....Go Jays Go!!

One last thing.....Paul Manafort has been sent to jail until his trial starts in September!!!
The guy had it made being on house arrest but what did the idiot do? He could not resist witness tampering....guess he got bored of twiddling his thumbs at home, so now he can do it in a cell.

Who will join him?? Michael Cohen?

@walkonby we watch the Marlies game last night and there was some Choice words from my DH for the refs and yes we all agree the Sparks has a shut out. What a game

Good morning from the island! We celebrated our GS's b'day, today is my DH's b'day, it's been gorgeous, but we were supposed to have thunderstorms, but it's sunny right now.
Not sure how long my wifi will last, so I'll just wish you all a wonderful weekend! Sorry I can't or haven't figured out how to give you "likes" on this thing, yet.

@avoncallingu , our DD's assistant instantly cured her tendonitis on her arm with an amazing roll-on herbal med, and yesterday when I was limping along with my hip bursitis she gave it to me to try and honestly the relief was instant! Her assistant rolls it on her temples for headaches and migraines. It's called "Biofreeze", it's on amazon, but she gets hers and soon mine, at a therapeutic massage business here. I really urge you to try it...but you can only use it 4 times a day. Hope that helps!
