Nurse just left. Visits are shorter now that I don't have bandages for them to do.

She said to not be concerned about the blister yet, and we covered it the right way earlier.
Just hoping it's a one off. Nurse said it takes a year for skin to truly heal.
Great news! Blood pressure is 110 over 80, great that it came down. My normal, pre-sick, was 110 over 70.

Heartrate is 42, so at least that is stable.
Lungs are clear, yay! Just have to stay out of the smoke outdoors.

Weight down by a lot, which is good but puzzling since I have had a really good appetite lately.

I have this weird rash on my back and upper chest, I don't think I mentioned it here because the other stuff I am dealing with is much more important. Anyway, the first cream used for it really did nothing, so the nurse contacted the doc about prescribing another. I forgot to mention it to the doc when she was here Monday, but to be fair, the nurse had left a note for the doc to check it.

So I feel good! Care aide comes this aft at two.

Care aide called and asked if she could come earlier, so she has come and gone. Now I am free for the aft!

Good morning all

Good start to my morning.
Hours for a European Seminar/Conference Trip coming up approved! One of the manufacturers I work closely with offered to send me Europe later next month for a week long Conference they are hosting. Big wigs here reviewed the itinerary and gave me the A-Okay to charge the 80% of the time to Continuing Education/Seminar/Conference work.
80% is absolutely fair. There will be a few boat cruises and a bit of Golfing...:big grin: Can't really charge the office for that stuff!

Any who. cooler day here today.
Lady is working from home today, so Coop gets to spend the day with Mom.
@Natalka , I'm glad to hear you have some good news. @Ava oncallingu, that's crazy news. I hope everything was cleared/will be cleared soon for you brother and his family's home.

@danger_dan ....yay for you!! Where exactly is the conference? Your work must be highly respected for a company to approve that vacation...oops, sorry...that conference! We'll require a detailed report of your activities when you return.

Another gorgeous day here.....we'll be picking our GS up after his football practice this evening. He has a movie night at a college here tomorrow night with his team, so that should be so much fun for him.

The kids will be heading off to camp to begin packing everything up for the season. We only have the long weekend there, so they're keeping only the necessities for that weekend, then packing up the rest. We'll be doing the same on the long weekend. Then "the boys" will head there sometime in mid September to close up. There goes the season.

Otoh, it was lovely going outside with my coffee this morning with Jenny; so much nicer to be in cooler temps than those suffocating hot and humid temps we had this summer. Can't win, can we...hahaha!! I shouldn't complain, we had so little rain this summer, no campfires allowed since the start of July, so many people had wonderful little holidays there.

Nothing much on my agenda...DH is heading out to play 9 holes shortly, and I'm off to have breakfast!

Oh I tried! That was the first question I asked them...it's a no go unfortunately. Logistically the manufacturer isn't quite at that level of organization and financial backing to run a conference and offer it up for spouses as well.

I hope you're able to get a little rest during the day, and of course I'm sure you'll stay inside away from the smoke.

Dan, when our DD attended those out of the country conferences, she was allowed to bring her DH as long as she paid for him....took them to San Francisco where he rented a sports car and drove California State Hwy 1 down to Pebble Beach for lunch...hahaha!!
Anyway, would that be an option for you? To pay for your wife's flight etc?
