Good morning, everyone!! Seems the sun has finally decided to make an appearance which always makes the day more cheerful!

@GoJays....lol, no that's not the size of my wineglass.....mine are 10 oz...so two of those + 20 oz, and since there are just over 25 oz in a 750ml bottle of wine, that's just 2 1/2 glasses of wine.

@avoncallingu, hope you feel better this morning, that BRAT plan certainly works although our kids never really enjoyed it when they were flu-ish 'in that way' for a day or so. Nothing like homemade applesauce, though, huh?

Thank you, @danger_dan, I'm still feeling the affects of that fall, and I looked up how how a bruised bone takes to heal and it might be a month or two!!! I'm living on pain pills right now and doing as little walking as I can around here, but I sure do get antsy to do stuff. It always seems so tempting to just be able to sit and do nothing, but that wears off pretty quickly, don't know how I did it when I broke my leg and had all those surgeries; I guess sometimes we just don't have a choice. Hope the frost stays away until your pipes are all drained.

Everyone, have a wonderful day, hope it's sunny where you all are, too!!

Lol...yes I brought that spelling error to our SIL's attention, hope he passes it along.
@Natalka , yes, I agree our kitchen was a warm place to be, everyone always gathered there, but times they are a-changin', and their entire first floor looks like that. All white, silver and glass, but with a mid-tone hardwood floor. It should be on the home-tour at Christmas!
@GoJays , you would not believe that countertop...when our DD described it to me when they found it, she said it didn't have that "granite glaze" on it, so yes, I agreed it would be nicer without it, but then she said that it had "all little holes in it that makes you want to dig out the gold flecks" ect.. Holes?? How are we to roll pyrohy dough on a counter with holes?! But ohhhhh....yes, it does have tiny holes all over it and yes, I do want to dig out the gold, the mica (which is my favourite), the copper....but she won't let me. I've never seen anything like it and it's just magnificent. Of course I'm a rock-hound from way back, took geology in HS, and when travelling I always brought back a rock from wherever we visited, and put it near our fish-pond in our back yard. Of course, that's all gone now, too.

We had our homemade lentil soup for dinner...sigh....it's wonderful, but it signals the beginning of "taking care of ourselves" again, after mis-behaving this past summer. Time to hop back on the diet wagon for me. Dang it. So hard to start, but once I actually get going, it's quite easy. It's the gettin'-goin' that's the hard part.

Enjoy your evening, everyone! We also had a few flickers of snow but just wee flickers, nothing more. Just a sign of things to come..

Just a pic to show more flexibility. I always thought I'm not able to fold forward as much as the people at the end of the workouts. Then I decided to take this picture. I definitely am getting there and able to fold forward more than I thought I was lol. Hope everyone has been having a good day.

Like two peas in a pod, we are, @GoJays!!! Hahaha!!

@Natalka, Jenny can do the "Sit". Yah. She can do that. If I'm holding a treat.
I don't think they're bred to be obedient; I'm pretty sure they feel quite above it all. They're snugglers, and kissers!
If you ever feel like you're missing having a baby in the house, get a dachshund; nothing they like better than being babied...snuggled, kissed all over, covered up and tucked in...

    Love the "Stay" frame! Hahaha!!

The "snow" was barely a flicker in the air, Nat, for about 10 seconds then nothing. It was depressing while it lasted, however.

    69 days until CHRISTMAS!!!

We had hail today. Of course it decided to start while I was walking the fresh, dry groceries from the store to the car. It stopped when I drove away

Legal pot is big business-and small business too. Question is does one support it because it will stimulate the economy? Is money worth compromising principles?
Frankly, I am glad to see that people who have been stuck with criminal convictions for really minimal infractions may be able to wipe their slate clean.

Anyone who is rushing to the forefront to try it now is probably just curious.

I wish we could turn our attention on much more, in my opinion, evil crimes like human trafficking , and spousal abuse. Pot smokers are not really noted for flying into a rage and beAting people up. What about opioid abuse- much more dangerous, I believe. Lack of appropriate housing and care for the poor. Elder abuse.

I feel that if someone wants to get stoned and get the munchies- how is that different from over use of alcohol or tobacco that has lots of evidence it will kill you.

    In my humble opinion.
