Just before lunch, Yvonne the physiotherapist called and came by with a new pair of compression stockings. They are the same size as the ones I have, but wowsers, so much tighter because they are new.
She had only ordered one pair, because even though she measured me, they were classed as ''petite" - which I obviously am not. My feet are size 10 and my legs are long. However, they fit perfectly so she will order the second pair.

She will also bring a new kind of donning aid for us to try. Even though my husband does really well, it is hard on his hands, so we will give this new thingee a try.

Well, I had a good lunch of soup and salad, so I will try nap before Milan comes.

I did that with homemade chix broth that I painstakingly had made up and almost all the Jars busted in the freezer!

I even left " space " in the jar for expansion but they broke anyways.

    Hope this is good advice.
    ciao!
Thank you, @walkonby, yes the lids popped in like they do after a hot water bath processing. No freezing?
We also left head-space, but I'd better let them know to transfer them into something else, like freezer bags before freezing them...THANK YOU!!
Squashed freezer bags take up far less room, also.

Hello folks! Just met a terrific couple and got started with a Terrific sounding ceremony.

A nice warm evening. Piles of things to do. But I am very pooped.

Lots of screw ups with voting in this area. They are 're-opening polls tomorrow and extended in some tonight.

    Take care, folks!

T.O. is next! BUT not Scarborough or most of the 905!!

Ottawa – Members of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) in the Toronto local will head to the picket lines at 12:01 am EDT on Tuesday, October 23, to begin the second day of postal disruptions across the country. Job action will take place in the Greater Toronto Area, (excluding Scarborough) and most of the 905-region.

Same here, @avoncallingu ...problems with online voting; I'm guessing everyone waited until today to vote and jammed the system...voting continues through tomorrow.

G'night, whoever sees this before morning!

Important to include the next paragraph in the Canada Post webpage announcement also

"However, Toronto is also a key processing hub for mail and parcels in Canada. The union’s rotating strike will therefore have a significant impact on our operations. Canada Post will make every effort to minimize the impact, but customers across the country may see delays for parcel and mail delivery."

    Good morning!!

Not a busy day here, +2, drizzly, but no white crap so that's a good thing.

Stay safe if you're heading out there, and have a lovely day!
