    Traffic was amazing!
The usual 1:15-145 took about 50 minutes... GPS said 1:02...but they don't call me Danger for nothing..., a bit of a lead foot. I was safe though, I promise. Just drove fast.

@GoJays ...you had me at BACON...

    Morning all

    @ home, working away.
Cooper is doing well. He's his normal self, albeit a little sore, as he's been whining on and off. Pour guy...he doesn't get his next pain med dose until this afternoon.
But other than the bit of whining, he's no different.

He was a bit groggy last night as the anesthetic was still running through his system. He was falling asleep sitting up and doing a head bob, trying to stay awake. It's too bad the Lady and I didn't manage to get to our phones in time to catch a video of it though.

Dull dreary day here at home. Temperatures are staying constantly cool.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day, and restful and relaxing weekend.
    Take care everyone.

Well, it can be a little tricky at times juggling everything, but I make it work. Couponing is really the only other thing I do (No Sports, Music, and only one club once a week). It also helps that this term isn't overly heavy for coursework. And I'll have even less next term (might try to get a part-time job, and maybe actually start working with the business incubator here to get my business idea at least started)

I need to try and get up earlier. First step is to try and go to sleep earlier.

Hope everyone has a good day and weekend.

You need to get yourself on my schedule @cabmonk . Up between 3:30 and 4am, at work for 5. I had the day off today and I was awake at 5:10. That was sleeping in for me I'm in bed by 9pm.

Sometimes we just have to be kind to ourselves...meditation works for me when I'm not too antsy to even try. Have you tried that? Stay strong, Hon.

@Newfiescreech , how fun getting all or most of your shopping done in one trip! We did that a few years ago in NY. Many stores, shops will ship for you, so that will help your baggage limit. And oh, to be young again and busy as you are! Although I seriously can't recall being involved in so many organizations! You're amazing!

@Natalka , eeek...I hope Vader goes on a hunting soree for that icky bug! I just looked it up.....go get it, Vader!!
Thanks a lot @Lynn49 for the nice words and kind support for my Lupus Diagnosis. I just found out from my last Rheumatologist visit, that my Plaquenil medication for fatigue can cause anxiety and depression. She was trying to make me cut back a day from it, but I was worried with the extreme fatigue.

I started doing 15 minute yoga sessions every day this October to help with anxiety and depression. So far, it has helped with back pain and posture. I also have a calming app that has water and bird sounds to help clear the mind. But still, once I get hit with the blues, it just happens. I have to ride it out and it clears up on its own.

A very happy son called me to let me know he was done the exam and sure he passed - they need 70 I think - but I will bet he did better.

Too bad they have to wait six weeks for results, and they come by mail.

He was the first done the exam - gah, so like his mom! - and was waiting for others to be finished. The group is going to eat together, then go to someone's acreage to play with big boy toys to blow off some steam!

@JadeAngel - hoping you have a decent day today with all you are going through. Glad you are dealing with appropriate specialists, though.
    Big hugs to you!

G'day, @JadeAngel ....I've had lengthy chats with my doctor about meds that might help me, but could ultimately have other not-so-nice affects on me and it's for those reasons I've refused any medications for this fibro. Fatigue is my biggest complaint; I can put up with pain, but the fatigue is overwhelming. I could go on Lyrica or Cymbalta, but those two frighten me so I won't. I am looking into CBD oil which our doctor has approved me for...it doesn't contain any THC, so I won't be getting 'high' on it, lol....this isn't the 70s, after-all. Hahaha!!
I'm on a fibro message board and there are so many people on there who take that oil, some rub it on their skin to absorb it into their system, others just put a drop of it on their tongue each morning and if they're all to be believed, it's the closest thing to a miracle drug for not only pain but for fatigue as well. He's out of town until Tuesday, but as soon as he's back, I've left a message with his nurse that I've decided to try it. We'll see what happens. We have a clinic here, managed by doctors and medical staff who can direct me to the best oil for what ails me.

    GOOD MORNING, everyone! Or...good DAY!!

I was up far too early with a sick pooch...Jenny was antsy this morning at about 6:30, and I convinced her to go back to sleep, which lasted an hour, so we got up and she headed straight to the door, and I let her out. She was out there for quite a while, no barking this time. When I let her in, I went back upstairs to wash up, and came back down and made a Keureg coffee, sat down and she fell asleep on my lap, burrito style. About an hour and a half later, I needed another coffee, DH was still asleep so I just made one for me, and when I came out of the kitchen I noticed that she had vomited on the floor near her foodbowls! I cleaned that up and thought, "what a nice girl not to do that on the carpet". We snuggled on the sofa again and when my DH got up and made coffee, I went back to bed for an hour. When I got up, he was walking into the house with the kids' new steam machine for carpets...yep, she had vomited on the carpet. So...everything's cleaned up now and all's well with the world, and Jenny's been nibbling her kibble and drinking water so she's back to her ol' self again. Scary when our tykes are ill......Nice to hear Cooper's feeling better, @danger_dan ....poor muffin...he's leaving his incision area alone? No cone of shame required, thank goodness!
@Newfiescreech , enjoy your shopping trip to the big city and yes, always ask for shipping at the stores you go to, esp the larger ones.
Have fun, too!! Oh, btw...is that fire at the fish-processing plant anywhere near you?

Well...off to do some mischief. Or not.

Have a lovely although dull day, everyone!!
