Lynn,

This one is just a stabber

I have what I call a pickle elevator, but that's not its real name. Mine is green and I bought it probably for 50 cents at a yard sale two decades ago. Sure wish I had more than one - one for dill pickles, one for yum yum pickles, and one for pickled beets.
Mine is a much heavier plastic and looks much more sturdy than the current model

@Natalka, mine's the first one, the Fox Run one....so far it's lasted years and years and I love it! That stabber, I can just imagine me chasing the last pickle around in the jar trying to fish for it! Hahaha! We store very little in plastic in the fridge since we changed to all glass, but that green container sure looks efficient!! Trust Tupperware to solve a problem!!
Well...I have to make a nail appt for ceramic polish before Christmas and to remove this hot pink I happened to pick last time, hahaha....then to pour another coffee and go through my dessert recipes for Christmas.
Work, work, work.....
Enjoy the day, Nat!!

Love the meme, Lynn!
That cat cartoon is so true - for a door knock, we don't have a doorbell, Vader runs to the bedroom, body low to the floor, and goes under the bed.
However, since I get repeat health care visitors, sometimes she will just go to the room doorway and wait - and be darned if she doesn't recognize voices - home care always calls out who they are after they knock. So at times now, she doesn't go hide, she will wait to see who it is - Vader is one smart kitty!
Well my tablet is really low on juice, so I have to stop using it since I don't have the charger here.
Have a great afternoon, everyone!Last edited by Natalka; Mon, Dec 3rd, 2018 at 02:52 PM.

I'm doomed... I just signed up for Pinterest. I resisted as long as I possibly could.

I never got into instragram...if I "search " for a particular recipe, nothing of any use comes up. When I do the same search on Pinterest, tons of them show up and I can sort them all into my own files. Weird how we're all drawn to different things...makes the world go 'round, I guess....
Did you watch the pomp and circumstance of GW's Washington 'funeral' today? Lordy...I'd take him back ANYtime now!!!

Maybe it's just me, but I have no interest in Pinterst. I tried it, sort of when @Lynn49 tried to get me hooked! ha ha
I clicked a wrong thing and was accidentally subscribed or something because I keep getting stupid emails from them, which I instantly delete.
I find many things on the web just take me down a rabbit hole that I cannot afford to go down into...time restraints and all that. It is frightening how many hours can " poof " disappear when I think I was " just browsing ".
Tonight was a nap night....4-8 p.m. ha ha So now that means I'll be up with both cats for a few hours darting our eyes at imaginary things on the ceiling!!

@walkonby , I hear you. For me, YouTube is my kryptonite. I can sit there for hours going from one video to the next, it's ridiculous. However, I have to be so careful. YT is what cost me on my last internet overage.
