Good morning @GoJays
No sure what's going on but it's as though I am havinf trouble loving in from my iPad. On SC and when I do get to I would not be able to do much and be kicked out quickly.
Another cold day here..Not sure as yet what my plans are for the day.
Have a great day everyone

Morning folks! Got to tidy up in the rooms the fix-it-guy will frequent.
@cabmonk don't share those creepy stories! I live by myself in an apartment with all kinds of noises!
How about "Hallmark Christmas Stories ?" Schlocky but they give you a nice warm feeling.
My clock radio has finally reached it's end- it was doing weird things yesterday and when I tried to set the correct time this morning, it just kept showing random times. Don't need it having an electrical breakdown! Ditto with my heating pad!
Oh well, Christmas is coming!
Tootie is giving me the "urgent" look. Better get moving.
Have a great day!

Good morning.
Have a great day, everyone.
Wow, another plunge in the Dow. The market was closed yesterday so our DD took the afternoon off to do her Christmas shopping, but today she'll probably be innundated with calls...an almost 500pt drop again!Last edited by Lynn49; Thu, Dec 6th, 2018 at 09:34 AM.

Good morning!
Happy St.Nicholas Day!
I have such nice memories of St. Nicholas concerts when I was growing up.
Then, came the year when I was grown up enough to get my wings and be an angel for the concert! I have a pic, but it's in an album I can't get to now.
Have a wonderful day, everyone!
O kto kto Nikolaja l’ubit,
O kto kto Nikolaja služit,
Tomu svjatyj Nikolaj
Na vsjakij čas pomahaj,
Nikolaj, Nikolaj!
O who loves Nicholas the saintly,
O who serves Nicholas the saintly;
Him will Nicholas receive,
and give help in time of need,
Holy Father Nicholas!

Happy St. Nicholas Day!
I FOUND MY WATCH! The one that my DH had given me our first Christmas together- the one that had been missing since MAY! I had given up looking for it, thinking that I must have left it in a washroom along the 401.
Then, when. I was moving things so that the fix-it guy could get at the toilet in my second bathroom, there it was, nestled under some washcloths that never get used! Thank-you to my DH! It was amazing how many times my wrist "called" to me- reminding me that it wasn't there.
Seems like my backed up sink will require a full-on plumber and I am hoping the landlord will pay for a different type of faucet and drain that I can more easily remove the Goop from. I did save the landlord/lady some money, though, because we were able to replace the fixture in the foyer which had gone kaput with the former dining room fixture which I had saved from when I replaced it with a fan/light when I moved in. What was formerly the dining area is now my living area.
Gradually I am making this space my own.
Choir tonight. Apparently the roads are quite slick at the moment.
Hip is telling me to sit down and take a load off for a while.
Take care, my friends!

Oh, darn. Now....had you opened a "Chicken Recipes" board in Pinerest, and put it there, it would still be there!
Ahem...sorry but that's how I keep all my favourite recipes gathered...heaven help me if I ever lose Pinterest!
I have this one saved in my folder on Pinterest since it had so many great reviews...was your baked, also?

@Lynn49 - your recipe is close but not quite there. I can't remember if I pan-fried it first or if I just baked it the entire way. I'm leaning towards straight baking. It sounds right. Oh well, I will wing it and hopefully it comes out ok. Thanks for your recipe. And I didn't have Pinterest when I made this the first time so there

I understand about wondering if it's pan-fried or not, but baked low and slow it should crisp up. Do you use Panko crumbs? It's pretty much an entree we can't mess up as long as the chicken isn't overcooked. I like gruyere cheese instead of mozz, though, but that's just a personal choice...which is what cooking and baking (not my strong suit) is all about, right?
Good luck, Jays!
