Our DD has been down with the nastiest cold for about a week, our GS just got over his after about a week and a half...it's nasty if that's what you've got. I hope you're well soon, my Friend!!When are you scheduled to take off for Denver?

drats! @avoncallingu if you've cancelled seeing the Dr. then you must really feel terrible. ((hugs)) and hoping that whatever has grabbed hold of you gets lost fast!
I've been up since 5 a.m. that " nap " I took lasted the entire night! Good grief how could I have slept so long?
DD had cooked up an entire array of her meals ( her batch cooking I guess ) while I was down and out, so I woke up to a kitchen that looked like a bomb went off in it!
No matter at least I was well rested to tackle the mess. After that I got a chili on the go. The beans had soaked since yesterday morning so they took only 10 minutes in the pressure cooker to be perfect ( not too soft).
I normally use beef but GT had those funny 1 lb. tubes of extra lean ground chicken so I grabbed them for it. The guys will be grazing on this over the w/e, I cannot have any beans still so phooey to that.




We've had some snow that we did not ask for....bitter temps that we could have passed on....oh hey!!

I did not really NEED anything either when I took a trunk load of stuff to donate to Value Village, but who can resist their discount cards they give you?

I bought a walker!! ha ha
I am not needing one BUT there have been so many times I just cannot do a Mall with DH. We always leave because my knees start aching within 15 min. I swear it is their floors causing it.
It cost me $12.00 !! ha ha SOLD!! Start the car and all of that.
It is very basic, no bells or whistles. It has hand brakes and a seat, which is about all I need.
