Just winding down, waiting for my meds. The aide already stopped by to chat, she's a real sweetie who loves the patients - and we sure realize she is in the right job for her.

My roomie ended up going home, a day early - and didn't even bother to phone her husband that was her plan, he just came for a regular visit. So that caused quite the kerfuffle here for a while.

I have been lucky in having two pretty decent roommates, just hope my luck holds out until I am discharged. Will get someone new tomorrow - there is quite a waiting list for this place, so never a problem filling beds.

Milan did come for a visit, bringing corn nuts and girl guide cookies (via boss's granddaughter). Then husband came bringing clean clothes and poppyseed danishes.

Yes, I have been dealing with the aftermath of my big walk this morn, as the PT asst predicted. Some muscles have been really complaining! But tomorrow is another day!

Another chilly day here. Hoping the day gets warmer .I have a very whinny dog right now since all week last week I walk my fur baby when my DH left for work. Have a few errands to run today so will see after my Volunteer if I wii do them

Mother Nature decided to play a not so funny early April fools prank on us yesterday...8in. of the white stuff...wet and heavy packing stuff too...
...and then the stoooopid carbon tax and money hungry TTC...

I've already warned my children to not dare pull any pranks with me. I've never once pranked them and I expect the same in return. I've always hated April Fool's Day. I guess I'm just a fuddy duddy who never understood nor appreciated a good joke... and yet here I am with the memes. Even that stupid prank show on TV I avoid at all costs. It's French, there's usually no speaking in it. I don't even know what it's called, that's how much I dislike it.

My DH was the one who usually pranked the kids in the morning...just something silly, and we all had a good morning giggle. But I could not agree more about pranks or worse yet, game shows or games on shows that embarass people for a laugh, like that Ellen person on her show. Make people do stoopid things for a laugh. No, people, she's not laughing with you, she's laughing at you! Can't stand that crap or the shows they're on.
Like Dan said...I'd better stop here.

Another sunny day, more melting, so we can actually see the people walking down the street. The downside? Jenny thinks they're all shifty and barks at then until they leave. Works every time, according to her.

{{{{{Snicker}}}}}.... @avoncallingu , I could barely hold it together towards the end of the game!! I feel the same way about Duke as I feel about the Patriots....enough, already about them! So full of themselves. A whack of brackets probably collapsed last night, including our DD's.
But I don't care!!!

Not too bad this morning just tired like always. I’ll probably go for a walk soon. Just figuring out if I’ll walk to food basics or just walk around the block lol. Hope everyone has a good day..

@Natalka , or anyone....I recall someone telling us how to determine the origin of photos, ie where they were first posted...can someone remind me how to do that, please?

I have done reverse image search, but I think it takes a lot of looking sometimes to determine an original posting.
I have only done it on a desktop, not on my tablet.

1. Open Google Image Search in a new window.
   
   • If the image is on your computer, click the little camera icon and choose upload photo.
   • If the image is online, click the camera icon and paste the direct url or address of the image.
   • You can also drag the image into the search box.
