Definitely was nice out. Is supposed to be about +21 tomorrow. If my feet aren’t sore I’ll try the 6km walk to Hersey lake. 🙂

Fun game of euchre tonight. Beautiful view from the 10th floor on the other side of the building!
Watched "Hot Zone " tonight. Makes you paranoid to touch anything in public places! EEK!
Going to say,"goodnight!" Sleep tight! Don't let those blackflies bite!

Good morning @danger_dan and the rest of you sleepy people
It's a sharty day out there today. Wind, I don't mind. Rain, I don't mind (in reasonable amounts)
But wind and rain combined makes for a sharty day.

Lots of smiles this morning! That's a great little ditty about blackflies!
Waiting for meds to kick in and then I'm off! Got a runny, red eye this morning. Think it's just allergies.
Garage sale meeting this morning.
See ya later!
@Lynn49 - can't access my messages at the moment. I know you sent me something. 😊

@cabmonk - awesome that you can handle such long treks, and you are lucky to do them amidst such great beauty!
@avoncallingu - you mentioning an early supper time reminded me of how glad I was to be home when I could have a meal later. At the hospital, supper was at 4:30, which meant the evenings were very long. I did have to adapt to it though, so I would have a snack around that time, along with meds, then eat later.
We have summer! Twenty-eight today, 30 tomorrow.
Today I will be having a nurse come to do a check up. Just weighed myself and, thank goodness, it's the same as two weeks ago. I'm washed and ready for her, one can come at any time. Usually nurses will call before coming - some will give a time an hour or so away, others may say in 10 minutes. It's nice to have a heads up.
At three this aft, my home care coordinator and Dr. from the Senior's First program will both come. Both are a hoot, so I am looking forward to the visit! Plus, they both love Vader - the doc will sit down on the floor to play with her!
Hope everyone has a Terrific Tuesday!

Good all.
Its raining all day today. It’s also windy and cold. Guess I can do some cleaning or just rest with a book.
Have a few errands to run but not sure if I will be going out today.
Stay safe on the road

G'day, everyone!!
A dull, slightly drizzly day here, so that pretty much sucks the life out of any motivation I may have had. I'm tossing around a few ideas of what I can or should do around here, but I think that'll require much thought. Much, much thought.
We did get our Vesey's order yesterday so DH planted all the roots and bulbs, so that was nice. He also went to our former home and dug up about a third of the rhubarb plant that we had there, plus some rhubarb, so I made a crumble last evening and omgosh...I hope I can remember how I made it!!! I should always try to remember to write things down when I'm just tossing stuff together in case it's a great success, like that crumble!
Anyhoodles!! You all have a wonderful day!!!

The other posts had me laughing ( as usual ) but THIS one gets top prize! Oh @Natalka my DH is like this most of the time.
One of the reasons I keep any bad news away from his ears when he comes in from work, shift workers lose enough sleep as it is from the daytime noise outside.
I agree with both @GoJays ( a totally sharty day indeed ) and @Lynn49 ( who can get motivation in this weather? ) .
I was out early dropping DD off, then hit up GT. Although our eldest son does not really need any new t shirts...I cannot resist grabbing him 2 more @ $3.00 each. One dressy with a collar, smoky grey with black, and one that is a slippery material, blue and a casual look.
I was able to snag myself a Youth large sized top!! ha ha The diet must be working. ( it is red, thin material, has a hood and a centre pocket in the tummy area where my hands can meet! ) Small things can make my day.
Our front deck construction is coming along pretty good despite Mother Nature's crazy fixation with RAIN. Hopefully the guys can get back out there this afternoon to finish off more of it.
