Hi again.....we just got home from the funeral home, my DH's neice's Husbabd passed away after a 7-yr battle with cancer. He was a sergeant in our police force so there was quite the police presence there....so many people, since he coached various sports in the city.

A drizzly day now, so we didn't do any wandering.

Pretty quiet here today though...

Btw...I know you're heading to NYC for Thanksgiving...any chance of taking in a broadway show? I would highly recomment Aladdin, Flemeth, if you haven't seen it already. We were in the centre of the 5th row and omgoodness, the costumes! The Genie stole the show, he was incredible...if you or your relatives get the opportunity, I know you'll all enjoy it!

Thanks @Lynn49 we did not see Aladdin . I will ask my DDS if the want to go and see it if we have time. Since we are only going for 3 days it usually be very busy and this time we are going to see my nephew daughter who was born on few days ago.

Good morning my SC friends.
I guess I fell asleep to early so I was awake since 3am . Will soon do some baking after I walk Thor.
Then I guess I will see what my DH is up to . Both DDS will be out . I do have to do a major grocery shopping and grab a few this to take with me to NY for my family.

For thoes is that are under the weather I hope you get better soon.

Meeting up with a friend for lunch then a little shopping, thank goodness it's a bright sunny day!

Hi folks! The wedding went wonderfully well but my throat started feeling scratchy and now my ears and chest are involved. Poopy! My BrotherB is under the weather too. Time to relax.

So I am cancelling going to the meeting today and will just putter and binge watch some TV.

Don't know if we got frost last night, but they were calling for it.

There is so much I could be doing today, but I need to chill.

@avoncallingu , I'm pretty darn sure that those things will be waiting for you when you're feeling better. My scratchy throat started a day or two before my trip, then turned into a sore throat on the plane and the next day there, and I'm still fighting the resulting cough. So you may be in for a nice long rest. which may do you a world of good.
How's your pre-diabetic diet going? Did you meet with a nutritionist?

The kids attended a memorial service for a friend's Father, then they're going out for dinner with friends so we've had our GS here. I'm making his favourite spaghetti and my meatballs, but instead of baking or frying them, I've put them into lots of sauce to cook into nice moist meatballs. I used to always do it this way, not sure when that changed.

I hope everyone is having a productive and/or relaxing day.

Happy 🐈 urday!

Had a decent sleep overall, once I could settle in.

Some burning pain on the blister site, but not horrid. The nurse did put some sort of med right over it before bandaging it all up. Will have to wait until next visit Tuesday to see what is up. I am just scared of infection, that happens to me very easily. Last time I had blisters they healed well on their own, but this massive one is a different beast.
