Hello, friends! I went to my nutrition /exercise program today They have given us a pedometer. I am a week behind but the point is to get a baseline measurement. I used walking poles to walk around the track there and did some balance exercises.

I went to my BrotherR 's apartment and picked up some things that he wants. Then I went to reinvest my Education Investment for my nephew. Then I came home and made supper from the leftovers from the Thanksgiving. After that, I was so tired (and sore) that I took an advil and lay down. Fell totally asleep and just woke up.

Spoke with my cousin's sister. She is planning to have the interment on Nov. 2. I have to check to see how my BrotherR can get down on the train with his wheelchair. That gives me time to work on a service. I didn't know him well, but my BrotherB spent a lot of time with him when they were younger.

I have to come up with something for the Sing Song tomorrow.

Its a very cold and windy day . Just finish walking Thor.
Have a few errands to do today along with cleaning the house. Because on the weekend It will be busy again want to go visit with my cousins.

Sorry- yes, my cousin in Chatham has passed away. He was 53. Thanks, @Lynn49, I do have that ceremony.

Well, the carrot cake I baked last night turned out well even though it looks horrible. We'll just have to eat it with our eyes closed. I bought a 20 lb bag of carrots and I am determined to use up every one of them. DH keeps reminding me of the 50 lb sack of potatoes I bought years ago, which I made a crusade out of using. I even made quiches with shredded potato "pie crusts." Don't think it would work with shredded carrots.

Good morning!

Pain level back to bearable, sure hope it stays like that until tomorrow's rebandaging.

I actually ate a chicken leg and some corn for supper yesterday. My husband's reaction was like a parent encouraging a kid to try broccoli! I could barely taste the food, but was able to eat it and keep it down. I sure need the protein, I am quite weak.

Idiots! I just can't deal with them.
I had posted on FB marketplace, advertising a brand new, never used, Amika, ceramic curling iron. $40, (listed at $70 at Sephora). I get the message: "how's the heat?"!
I almost typed: hot.
Instead I just hit, "sold". I'll take this thing to my grave before I deal with idiots. I don't need the money, just wanted it out of here, thought it would be a good deal for someone.

Drizzly and windy here, DH is trying to encourage Jenny to go for a walk, lol...but it's so funny, he puts her harness on her and she faces the door like a pointer, not moving a muscle, no movement at all, tail straight up and even if he walks away fir a second or two, she just won't move! Ah, Doxies are too cute! Weird, but cute.
