Another windy morning? Just more of the same. I had placed a smattering of Autumn decor out front on Saturday and 3 times since then I've come out to see my scarecrow had lost his hat, ( he looks hilarious bald! ) one straw leg was sent over the fence, his broom strewn about and he'd been blown over face down on the lawn. I put him back together each time, re-set him....thinking the entire time about the Wizard Of Oz Scarecrow......

Got interesting and important info from the occupational therapist wrt BrotherR's wheelchair. Now I am in the middle of a family conflict about how BrotherR is to get around.

I am going to go to choir even though my voice kind of disappeared during our Sing Song this afternoon.

Tootie will get groomed tomorrow just in time to impress her "doggie cousin" Holland .

I was really cold today.

Hi! Just saying... have a great Friday. It's sunny out there , but pretty cold. Ah, which coat to wear on my dog walks? I gave in and wore my winter-winter coat yesterday. Brrrrr! Of course, these Temps will seem balmy if we get them in about 3 months.😂

Has anyone ever driven to buy gas in pj bottoms and tossed a full length Leaf jersey over their pj top? ( asking for a friend )

Supernatural is back!! Not really MY show, but my guys still love it, I think THIS is the final season. @avoncallingu I feel concerned at the " brother " sandwich you have going on in your very busy life. Hoping they both treat you kinder going forward, as you really go above and beyond out of love for them. @danger_dan drink in every relaxing moment of your time away from the grind at work!!

In last night's delightful game ( MLB ) the Yanks had their caps handed to them! ( again!!)

Yesterday I spent a great part of my day breaking down in tears...not even sure why Elijah Cummings passing hit me like that but it did. What a man! His record of tirelessly helping to change laws to protect disadvantaged people in society speaks for itself. R.I.P. Elijah ( look up the short poem he read when he was elected to Congress, the words have strength and wisdom )

Managed to do spin class even though my gout acted up. Resting for the rest of the day. Need to be good since I need to help all day sat, sun and Monday to help wrap up the election stuff. Hope I can walk by then. My extra cherry supplement seems to be helping a bit. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Birds like that are amazing!

Just heading for a nap, need to take some meds first. It's awful to have to down pills while nauseated.

Could not eat supper last night, all I could do was a few forksful of Caesar salad.
Today, an orange and, of all things, I had an urge for popcorn so had some.

Nurse was here just a while ago. The first thing she asked was how much weight I had lost, she said she could tell - she hasn't been here for several weeks.
She said the leg with the wound was doing well, but that it looked like raw ground meat - lovely...

Since she dressed and rebandaged it, it has hurt a fair bit so I need to go put it up for a while. I was up a lot during the night.
